Quaint place with modern amenities

Great place to stay. The hosts are meticulous in how they set up and maintain the rooms. We stayed at many other places on our trip in Europe, and none were as clean and comfortable as our room in Lindau. The only limitation is the location if you want to visit the island. We had no trouble parking and walking to the old section on the island. Highly recommend.

We stayed two days at the property over a long weekend. Room was large and comfy with many windows allowing great light inside. Bathroom was super with modern finish. Large choice for breakfast with local produce. Would highly recommend for anyone spending time in Lindau.

Perfect location to visit Lindau, Hotel provides free bus pass for the town while there (which we didn’t use) but never the less, a useful thing to know. Beautiful sun-filled breakfast room and a good selection offered.

Perfect location for Bodensee and Lindau! Nothing negative to report. Fantastic hotel and wonderful breakfast. We will certainly return!

The facility was very well appointed and extremely clean and with an attractive garden and plenty of parking - all set in a residential neighborhood with access to public transport. The host was always extremely pleasant and helpful. We also really enjoyed the generous breakfast. Would certainly return again.

Man at check in was angry...asked me why I used the App when I could book directly since I was there before. He said “It’s your money!” I had stayed there years ago with my parents. I would think twice before staying here again. The facilities have been remodeled but the man at the desk is not friendly and needs to be corrected!

This hotel is a beautiful old mansion excellently maintained and updated with all the amenities. Breakfast was fantastic in a bright sunroom. Area was a tight residential community but parking was provided and the garden is indeed “schön”.

Friendly and helpful staff and owner, good breakfast, nice and super clean rooms, spotless! Easy walk for about 30min to the island. Happy to stay there again once I am in the region

Nothing wrong with this hotel and big, clean and newly renovated house. Parking on the property. It was about 5-10 minutes to the island by car. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Great hotel. Better to have a car, although they do offer a free local bus pass.

We had 2 double rooms and both had comfortable beds and good showers. Added bonus of having black-out shutters and finding small bags of Haribo on our beds. Owner and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and the dining room was a pretty room. Approx. 20 mins. to walk to old town Lindau but if you take the hotel paper document you're given at check-in, you can get on the bus for free (2 buses - nos. 1 and 3 will take you to the island). Would happily stay again should we ever be back in the area. We all thought it should be a 4 star hotel.

I loved this hotel for its proximity to the sights I had come to see. It was practically in the shadow of the castle. I received a warm welcome and helpful attitude from the staff I encountered. I rated the hotel a "4" for comfort rather than a "5" only because it was a standard room, not an extra-comfy one. This was fine with me -- I was not looking for a luxury hotel, only a hotel close to the action where everything would work.

The hotel owner went out of his way to ensure our stay on the bodensee was first class.
