We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenview and hope to return. Our hostess was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Our freshly cooked breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed the cosy TV lounge. Everyone was very kind and friendly to our wee dog Heather.

I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. I will be back!

Morven the hostess was so welcoming and very accommodating.The room was clean warm and very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was a shared shower and toilet but this was not a problem. I would stay here again and i would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

This was a per description. Location was great 10 min walk into the middle of Oban. 5 min walk to aldi, tesco or Lidl. Petrol station across the road and plenty of parking in the back. Breakfast was very generous.

I was glad to find accommodation so welcoming and with such welcoming staff. I had booked my room at the last minute but checking in was very swift and straight forward. I would recommend it to anyone making a trip to Oban.

Friendly and hospitable host and a wonderful breakfast

We have a dog so always go self catering. Because we wanted a short add-on to our Wester Ross holiday we looked for dog friendly B&B. We will definitely be back for longer than one night next time we come to Oban. Very happy.

The staff were the best anyone could ever have. Check in time was 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and staff stayed up until we arrived at 10:00 PM due to a late train. Breakfast was the best I have ever had at a guesthouse, and I was able to leave my luggage their until my departure to my next destination later that evening. This guesthouse deserves a 5 star rating and above.

Very comfortable stay. Older building - always curious about the history of these buildings, a bit worn in spots, but clean and functional where it “matters”.

The rooms are really comfy and the landlady is a really lovely person.

We enjoyed our short stay at glenview guest House, we had an early ferry to tiree so was perfect for a night before early rise. We had to leave before breakfast so owner made a packed lunch for the ferry which was excellent. Perfect location for ferry in morning and went out for a meal just a short walk away in the evening. Thankyou again and we will be back if in area

Very basic accommodations. Room was cold. Proprietor did not respond to repeated efforts to solve the problem. On the plus side: parking was provided. Guest house was a 15-minute walk to downtown Oban.
