Nice hotel bit noisey at night

Leslie and the staff work hard and do their best. Breakfast was good, Bed was comfy. The room had no fan, and to be honest the bathroom was very small, had no extractor fan and smelt of damp, But maybe that was just my room, Basic room for a basic price,

Excellent hotel and enjoyed a relaxing break, clean room with a lovely choice of food and a great breakfast to start the day off. Great staff and service and hospitality.

Basic over pub rooms, generally tidy but needs a deep clean, very poor finish on jobs, loose filler, bathroom panels not fitting, grime and hairs round sink tap.

​Fantastic location right on the seafront and an easy stroll to the town centre. ​Breakfast was top-notch with both cooked English and continental choices. A special shoutout to the team: if you have an early start and miss breakfast, they will prepare a packed takeout breakfast for you. That is real hospitality and going above and beyond! ​The staff offered great local tourist advice, and the bar was pleasant, friendly, and well-stocked. Don't miss out on the food either—their pizza was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Would definitely stay again!

Clean room, great view, excellent staff.

The staff were friendly enough. The cleanliness and general upkeep of the building and rooms was average. The ensuite smelt of drains, there was no remote for the tv. Overall, an average stay.

Re:The Luggers this is a difficult one 🙄 Tho all facilities seemed to be covered, my room was really, really basic and was not impressed. Can't fault the bed, especially as - for me - I overlay the 1st morning. Breakfast was well provided tho quite basic, especially with the starters. I found that during my 3 night stay, the buffet breakfast was quite irregular with options 🤔 Would I stay again?? Actually, probably yes 😉

Disappointing. Shabby , and run down

Will always be my choice when staying in Penzance. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. Great space, bed, seating area in bed area bay window, settee in other bay window. Comfortable bed, clean room, good shower. Great housekeeping. Owner and Staff really friendly and helpful. Full buffet style breakfast, very filling. Evening meal selection great, Sunday roasts excellent. Great background music and some live music afternoons. Very central place to stay. Good bus, train, boat, helicopter links. What's not to love!

Nice stay at the Lugger, not sure about parking the car when it's busy but, it was OK when i was there. Friendly and helpful staff made it a nice stay.

The staff were great. Was there during Mazey Festival but they made time to check me in and made sure I new everything I needed to know

Property is well located on the Penzance seafront and our room had a sea view. The room was comfortable and breakfast food plentiful with friendly staff. However, the property is noisy when football matches are being live-streamed or there is the end of June Penzance festival.

My room was impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable and there were a couple of places to sit and watch the sea and world go by. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was good and the coffee strong. It's a perfect location for exploring Penzance, going for a swim in the Jubilee pool and taking any of the boat trips on offer either to Scilly or wildlife tours. Yes, the carpet / decor could do with updating but that didn't matter to me. The staff and the view out the front window makes this place a true gem.

staff very helpfull and friendly

Breakfast was basic but ok. The spray you're using to clean the bathrooms and wipe down the tables has an unpleasant smell. Room was clean but a bit tired- curtain rail damaged and repaired with a bulldog clip. The view was excellent.

Single room, two night stay. Room was comfortable, good bathroom with plenty of hot water. Floors were a bit creaky though! Excellent buffet breakfast - cereals, yoghurt, fruit and cooked breakfast. I also ate in the restaurant one night, and the food was largely good, though not impressed with the chips. Well located - not in the heart of Penzance but close enough to be accessible. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
