Casa Lila is a simply beautiful 300 year old riad, within the walls of the medina, an easy walk to everywhere in Essaouira. The people who work there are warm, lovely and welcoming- they are so helpful, and they love their city. We had a wonderful stay.

I stayed at Casa Lila for a week and had a wonderful time. I loved my room. Very nice breakfast (delicious fresh orange juice). Very nice terrasses. Great location. The staff is lovely and very helpful. I visited the in-house spa and hammam twice. It's not cheap but it was wonderful. I recommend whole heartedly this place and would visit again. Salam and shokran everyone at Casa Lila!

Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. Organised taxis and an early breakfast. Beautiful riad. Great location in the medina and close to the beach. nice breakfast. Thoroughly recommend staying here. Used the spa twice and loved every second.

Beautiful and peaceful

Great place 5 mins walk from the Supratours bus stop and within the walled Medina. Friendly and chilled owner, who also hires out bicycles to ppl who don't want to bring their own. Chilled calm space, friendly staff, great (consistently hot and fresh) breakfast on the roof terrace.

Rashide was very warm and welcoming helpful with town layout, clean rooms, good breakfast strong coffee! Very close to bus connections 6 minute walk. Kudos to all casa Lila staff!!

Not the best arias for the money and not 5 star in my opinion

Ideal base to explore Essaouira. Inside the Medina but easy to find via straight line from the parking lot entrance. You get advice on how to get there when booking. The room was spacious, strong shower and wifi. Staff were attentive and the breakfasts on the terrace set you up for the day. Shops on the doorstep and easy walk to the port. Recommended as a traditional riad.

Amazing hotel fantastic staff.

The hotel is very easy to find about 10 minutes walk from the bus station we arrived at. It is located right in the Medina that is small and easy to find your way around in. Great shopping and dining all close to hotel. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace is good.The main square is nice with great view of crashing waves. Not far is a beautiful long beach great for walking. The best part of all was Esma and the rest of the very helpful and friendly staff that helped us arrange for bus tickets as well as give us great advice on what to do during our stay. This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Essaouira.

Rooms clean and spacious but a little tired. Very difficult to get in and out of bath due to high ledge. Shower was hand held so difficult to shower.

Lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Rachid at the front desk was wonderful and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delicious.

Pretty room with extremely comfortable bed and great bedding. I had a terrific massage. Casa Lila is well located in the medina and not hard to find. Beach is close by.

Attention to detail was great! In addition to great water pressure and temperature in the shower, the bed was comfortable, there was a safe in the room, a large water for us , and rose petals strewn everywhere!

Good location. Great breakfast. Pleasant room. Staff very congenial. I didn't feel wi-fi was strong enough which was annoying. Also heater is timed by hotel, so you can't turn it on at your choice.

Casa Lila staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would. Highly recommend Casa Lila.

The staff were super friendly and helpful for the duration of our stay, recommending restaurants, shops and places to go. The room was immaculate everyday and smelled lovely with the candles they lit. The breakfast was large and yummy and spa treatments were very reasonable in price. Would definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is lovely...a great location for anywhere in the medina. Slept comfortably. Breakfast was amazing and changed each morning. Didn’t spend a lot of time at hotel relaxing but there’s spaces to on terrace when not very windy and inside. No bar but you can buy wine from carre four nearby and they put in fridge for you. Helpful with directions too. We had a very spacious room- apartment really for 3 of us, living area, shower room and 2 bedrooms, one with an open bath and sink area.
