We had such a lovely stay here. One of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in, it was spotless! Nice pool area with a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other side. Nice friendly staff. Restaurants and cafes within walking distance and a supermarkets nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a good hotel, we stayed in the first floor. It had a small balcony on the front as well as another bigger balcony in the back. Room was clean and all needed facilities were there. Room was very good. The staff was helpful. Friday night there was some BBQ and dance party. Pool also seemed nice, although we did not use it.

We loved our time here. Quiet area and excellent food options nearby.

Our second stay here. Good base for exploring western Crete. Costas and the team are great hosts and keep the hotel friendly, easy to use and clean.

This hotel is simply amazing, the apartments are comfortable, clean and air conditioned. The restaurant offers a good choice of meals and the food is delicious. There is a relaxing ambience and the pool is a nice way to end your day after your excursions around beautiful Crete. The family who runs the hotel is very welcoming and their hospitality is awesome. I highly recommend this place and will return for sure.

We stayed here only 1 night while in Crete and we were quite happy with the stay. The pictures on the website don't give justice to the place as we were fortunate to stay in a renovated apartment (and they were planning to renovate all the rooms) so it was a great value stay. Short walking distance (5 mins) to the beach and very nice and helpful owners. Good and peaceful location despite being in the city.

We stayed in one of the new rooms completed five months ago. A very large room with a very comfortable bed, two balconies, very effective air conditioning, and cooking facilities (which we didn't use). The rooms were serviced every day, including made beds and clean towels every second/third day depending on guest preference. The hotel restaurant served great food and cooked up to approx. 23:30 every night and was good value. The staff were very friendly and happy to help; for example telling us where the nearest car tyre centre was when our hire car suffered a puncture, and explaining the best way to get to Samaria Gorge (don't take your car). They stayed late to allows us to check in at 00:35 on our arrival. The only point I would add as a caution is that the pool is not heated, which was of no consequence to us as we like a cool pool, but worth noting if you prefer swimming in bath-like temperatures. Looking at the town itself; Maleme is a nice little place but has suffered a little in Greece's economic down-turn; there are some closed shops and some unfinished buildings. However if you don't want air-brushed, sanitised Greece it's a nice place to go to with a number of restaurants worth visiting, a pebble beach four hundred meters from the hotel plus a super market if you want to self-cater. It's easy to access the main route across the island and is only 20 minutes by car from Chania airport.

We really enjoyed our stay here.The apartment was lovely,very bright and spacious.Staff always helpful and friendly and Mama's home cooking was very much appreciated!..as were the fresh fruit and ouzo freebies following every meal :-) We also loved the company of the laid back dogs and the very polite cats that were in residence!!

Spring week with the family in Maleme - Ledra Maleme was a perfect base for exploration - staff friendly and efficient, didn't eat there every night, but when we did, the food was tasty and very good value. Lovely view from our balcony.

Ledra maleme at the start of April was quiet ,it was just opening up. However we loved the peaceful atmosphere, the hotel is surrounded by lovely gardens and we had views of olive groves from our balcony.Sea was close by 3 mins walk and good place for walkers generally. Pleased with good value,free internet extensive library & meals/drinks cheap. Only slight negative was cleaning-floors dusty but overall ok-Fresh towels daily. All staff friendly & knowledgeable.

Whilst its out of the way, town has a relaxed chilled atmosphere about it, its a good location to get to Elefanisi, Paleohora and also Chania. The staff are fiendly and they have a cheap bar and really nice pool if you just want to relax. The town doesnt have many options but if you do, hit Hotel Alexander for dinner, perfect local organic greek food and really cheap. Stay here if you're out this way.
