I received top notch service and attention at the hotel throughout. The restaurant was welcomed. I ate numerous meals there and always was greeted and served well and always enjoyed the food. I also received a delightful massage on site and on the beach. The beach at times was a little “sketch” and I was approached on the beach while simply walking to the water and asked for a propina by 2 thuglike men. Once you leave the pool and lounge chair area it’s a bit Wild West like and security tactfully communicates that. The price and Holiday Inn name are what hooked me as this was a super last second reservation as American Airlines screwed up my flight and I had to down line for my 11 night cruise in Cartagena. Luckily I only missed 3 nights at sea.

I give this resort 4’s across the board. Very friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was decent and so was the service. I recommend this hotel if you are visiting Cartagena.

Very clean everywhere but A bit expensive for the service… food was average and the gym wasn’t as shown in pictures.

The staff was awesome in all areas of the hotel. The location is wonderful, right down the street from the airport. I just wished it was an easier way to reset televisions to English, but the Customer Service Rep. did a great job.

The reason I visit this beachfront hotel is to lounge and read on the hotel property as the public area you get harassed for massages, drinks, sunglasses, hats etc. Although security is right there, they do not intervene when it is obvious you’re being harassed and do not want the service.

Went here to relax and read near the beach. The green area was under repair. Lounges not permitted. Moved to the pool lounge to read. Music was too loud to read. Went back to the room. Kindly be respectful of noise pollution. Everyone has their own devices for entertainment, focus on clean spaces, maintained equipment etc.

The hotel is neglected, dirty walls, the furniture in the room is average, the wood of the furniture is peeled. And in the bathroom and some parts of the hotel it smells bad, like a sewer. Where before one could sunbathe is dirty and full of dirty water,

The location is one of the best i have had the pleasure of staying at! The level of customer service was beyond what i expected. I will definitely be back and wont be staying anywhere else other than this location when i am in Cartagena. Thank you so much to all the staff for making it a home away from home

Room wasn't in good condition, towels and bedsheets were yellow and daily cleaning wasn't good
