They had a great breakfast

I spent 5 nights and was in heaven. Beautifully decorated and kept up. It was like stepping back in time. Having a full kitchen is a great option if you would rather not eat out. WiFi is spotty but you're on a Viking island. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful time.

Perfect location for exploring Visby. Lots of character. Very comfy beds and delicious free breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy hotel! The location was very good, basically right next to the Gotland Museum, and within minutes of the square, harbor, and shopping. The breakfast was great with seating in a picturesque room.

Unique hotel, different than anywhere we have ever stayed, but we loved this place. Clean and different with lots of space. Perfect location near everything within the walled city of Visby. Kitchinette was wonderful, the staff was fabulous, and the breakfast was delicious. Only wish we had stayed longer.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were given a free upgrade to the loft room which was very spacious. The free breakfast was amazing and complimentary coffee and pastries were available during the day. The staff was welcoming and the hotel is right in the center of town. The main office closes at 5:00pm so a code is needed to enter after that time which was somewhat disappointing.

We stayed in the annex. The room is nice, however, it is incredibly loud. It is located right on a main street, so people are walking by all the time. Make sure you have earplugs or you will probably not sleep well.

Very unique hotel, maybe not for everyone but we simply loved it!

This place could have a lot of charm, the rooms are huge and is was a beautiful restoration, and the lofts make it quite cozy. However the lack of service and terrible beds take away from the charm. There is so much fussy furniture in the room there is little space for a guest, every flat surface has something occupying the space. The beds sag and has a cloying air freshener in the room that makes one feel sufficated every time one wakes up from the sagging bed. One could not open the windows as it would have required a key that was not in the room. There was gum stuck on the headboard of the bed. There is a bar and a resturaunt, but they were not open.

Frukostbuffén fylldes på alldeles för långsamt och många fick sitta och vänta alldeles för länge. Papperskorgar i sviten var inte tömda och det stod tomma vinflaskor kvar efter tidigare gäster och det fanns heller ingen kökshandduk i pentryt.

Vi stannade en natt i Visby, trots att hotellet har ingen parkering det var lätt att parkera ca 200m därifrån. Bekväma sängar, god frukost.

Väldigt personligt boende med viktorianska förtecken! Härlig svit med plats för barnen en trappa upp.

Great Staff and good breakfast.

Väldigt bra frukost, sköna sängar och häftigt inredning. Smidigt ankomst när man kommer sent. Centralt och nära till båten. Kommer tillbaka

Toppenläge i Visby stadskärna nära hamnen där man kan bada från brygga. Hotellet var mycket fint. Vi bodde i en svit men fyra sängar. Den enda nackdelen var att det (mitten av augusti) var ganska varmt på rummet och svårt att vädra. Kanske ett hotell som gör sig bäst höst/vinter. Väldigt mysig inredning både i rummet och matsalen.

Fantastiskt vackert boende i sekelskiftesrum. Sängarna sköna, städat och fint, frukosten var god med stort utbud. Hit kommer vi tillbaka!

Trevligt hotell med god frukost. Lyhört både mot korridor och ut mot gatorna. Endast ett nyckelkort per rum gjorde det svårt att komma och gå som man vill.

It is a lovely hotel with very old stye decoration. The best place is the dining area for breakfast. It is more than words can describe. You have to be there to feel it. But there are also problems with this hotel. For example, some deails in our room are not so nice to see: 1. there was an old sock on top of the bed up cover in the first floor 2. The edge of a small green sofa in our room was peeled of by someone and it was not fixed. 3. The shampoo and gel bottle was empty and we asked the front desk to refill it before we went out for the day, but it was still empty when we came back, had to shower without shampoo or shower gel 4. There is no lift in the hotel, not friendly for a family with a stroller for baby like us, every time we went out or came back, we needed to carry the stoller to our room

Vi hadde et bra opphold i sjarmerende omgivelser. Hotellet ligger sentralt og i gangavstand både til ferje, severdigheter og kollektivtransport. Med fullt kjøkken var leiligheten egentlig bedre utstyrt enn vi hadde forestilt oss på forhånd. Fint med mulighet til å lage noen måltider selv, og ikke være avhengig av å spise på restaurant hele tiden. Frokosten var inkludert i prisen. Den kan ikke sies å være overdådig, men inneholdt likevel alt man behøvde og mer til. Hvis jeg skulle ønsket meg mer av oppholdet, ville det vært litt bedre ventilasjon og litt bedre renhold av tak/takbjelker. Det var en liten tendens til tett luft, og det var litt støv høyt oppe, der man naturlig nok ikke rengjør daglig. Vi hadde vinduet åpent hele tiden. Det var egentlig ikke noe problem, for det var ikke noe støy utenfor. Vinduet vendte mot en sidegate der få mennesker gikk, og vi hørte ikke mye fra hovedgata heller. Det var stille og fredelig på natta.
