Super convenience . Just beside the train station

Location is a 10, just opposite to the train station and direct bus to the airport. Staff in the reception is very helpful, especially the gentleman who assisted us to check out, who was very friendly and patiently answered our questions and also recommended us where to visit before we went to the airport. Thank you so much!

Good business hotel next to Basel SBB. Been there for 4 nights. Room was clean and had all amenities expected from a 4 star hotel. Structure of the building is a bit odd. You need to take two elevators and navigate some interconnected buildings.

Close to train and tram. Bathtub was hard to get in and out of. Too high.

Starting with the good points. It’s very close to the SBB train station. Now the bad. It’s crazy noisy. I was in room 126 and every morning delivery trucks turned up at 4 AM right outside my window. Avoid. When I complained was told we are busy. Good for them. No kettle in the room, told they are illegal 🙄 and to make coffee flavoured tea using the coffee machine. So had to go to Starbucks for tea at £4 a pop. Shower is lukewarm - horrible. Rooms are tiny bathroom claustrophobic. Checking out they couldn’t print a receipt 🙄.

stayed in the new wing of the hotel which was away from the Main Street. The hotel ceiling was rather low though. Room was clean and quite spacious. Breakfast was great.

Excellent location with lots within walking or easily accessible using the trams/buses. Helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable. A great base for exploring Basal.

Excellent staff at check-in. Helpful with suggestions. Cleaning staff was a bit inconsistent with replenishing cups, towels, tea, sugar etc. Very small fridge in room but it was not very cold. No microwave. Comfortable bed with warm duvets. Very close to train station and trams. East to get around without car. Confirmed hotel stay alllows free transit within Basel. Does have a very expensive breakfast but we opted to do our own. Only surprise was a city tax of 4 CHF per person per day charged at check out. Overall, very good hotel and amenities.

Prefer main hotel to Ressidence

Fridge was broken. When i mentioned this they said its just for complementary water it was not a mini bar so its fine! They refused to replace it

Conveniently located directly across from the train station. Our stay included complimentary passes to public transportation, with stops for the tram and bus just outside the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff was incredibly helpful and the room was perfect for the two of us, with very comfortable beds and pillows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back if we find ourselves in Basel again.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the location was ideal for our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Basel Card they provided was very useful.

Clean, comfortable, very close to Basel train station and the main tram line stop. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was big with great water pressure. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

Went to Basel for the christmas markets; location is perfect across the stress from the main train station ; many trams and buses there also; went to various cities for their markets and the location was made this easy ; room is basic for europe; sink not that large but adequate ; the breakfast was also basic not a large assortment but had enough choices.; room was quiet; staff was courteous.

The front desk staff were amazing!
