Stayed here for a night before catching my flight the next day -- great stay right in the heart of everything. Room has a sink, luggage rack, desk, chair, and a bed -- was super clean and honestly really cozy for what I needed. Shower and toilet are in separate rooms outside the bedroom. The shower can get EXTREMELY HOT!! Please be careful when turning the knob because it really can get hotter than hot! Blackout curtains do a great job at blocking out the summer sun. Unfortunately, I did find the water at the sink to smell strongly of sulfur. Echoing what another reviewer mentioned -- I've stayed in other accommodations within Reykjavik and none have ever had such a strong sulfur smell with the water quite like Sunna. I'm still rating it 5 stars because it still is a great accommodation. If I had stayed longer, I would still be happy because it's seriously great.

You can enjoy a direct view of Hallgrímskirkja from the room, which is a great highlight of the stay. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were all clean and well maintained. However, the sound insulation is quite poor, and there is only a very small sink in the room, which is not particularly convenient to use. Additionally, there is a noticeable sulfur (egg-like) smell when taking a shower, which is common in some parts of Iceland due to the geothermal water supply. Free parking is available, but you must inform the reception desk upon arrival to obtain a yellow parking permit, which should be displayed on the front windshield when parking in spaces marked with the Sunna logo. Please note that a paid parking area is located very close to the free parking section, so be careful not to park in the wrong area to avoid parking charges.

Excellent location 3 mins walk to Bus stop 8# for tours and across the Hallgrimskirkja. I was skeptical about shared bathroom, but the one on the 3rd floor where I stayed was cleaned daily, with adequate toiletries. The toilet is in a separate room from the shower and the room has a small sink which was very convenient. The kitchen was a nice space with supplies provided. Would have loved if there was a toaster and complimentary salt & pepper, oil for cooking purposes. However the TV was not working. There is also a balcony on the 3rd floor which is a good look out spot for northern lights. Staff was courteous and responsive. Great stay for short or long vacations.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. There's a sink in each room. Some rooms have bathrooms and other rooms share a bathroom. Everything is neat and clean and quiet. You can get breakfast bar included or not. (Cereal, yogurt, fruit, brea and toast, hard boiled eggs, meat and cheese slices, coffee, tea and orange juice. ) Bus stop #8 is about 100 yards away. There's also a coin operated laundry room.
