Visited in January 2025 which is the slow season for the Algarve. Quiet location in Carvoeiro with numerous shops and restaurants. During my stay there was maintenance being performed at the resort as well as various business in town. Property is clean and well maintained.

We have really enjoyed your stay here, beautiful area and apartment that caters to all your needs. An ideal holiday destination for families and couples to explore and relax.

Fantastic stay at Monte Dourado resort. Apartments were large, clean and comfortable and in a good location, albeit at the top of quite a steep hill! Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to have a coffee on the terrace and watch the kids play in the pool. It was a short walk into town and very walkable to the beach. We would recommend to others and would come stay here again!

We'll run complex. High quality pools and poolside slumbering. Apartment style with hit and miss kitchen set up so be prepared to purchase salt pepper oil if you want the basics. 5 minutes to the village shops. Yes it's a hill and it is steep but the resort gets you close to the village. There is another road in less steep than the main option if this is your problem. But hey it's once or twice a day and taxi's come to the resort for further a field travel.

Had an amazing week at Monte Dourado resort. Apartments are huge, very clean and well equipped. The pools and grounds are beautiful and well kept and the apartments are perfectly located, just minutes from the beautiful beach, many restaurants and shops. I have to give a mention to the wonderful staff, in particular Esmeralda and Silvia who helped make our stay perfect. Thank you. Highly recommend and we hope to be back xx

Property was in a great location with fantastic views of the town and it to sea. Beds were comfy but the bathrooms very tired and in need of refurbishment. Still has original fittings from the 1990s.

Lovely apartments in great location. Had everything we needed. Good value.

Our appartment was a 2 bed ground floor and was really big in size with a nice patio right on the pool. The pools were all based around a group of appartments and were well looked after. The resort is at a top of a hill but a nice walk down to the town and beach with everything you need a good selection of lovely restaurants Really enjoyed our stay.

Great elevated location - town easily accessible but far enough away to feel private. Great pools and plenty of sun loungers. Easy check in etc. Appartment bigger than expected - could easily accommodate another adult / teenage child with a sofa bed in the lounge. Would have liked a bigger sofa as only 3 inside comfortable seats.

This is a lovely property in a great location. We paid for a sea view, which is worth the extra money. Although, our sea view was only from one end of the patio. We also upgraded to a "superior" room, although I don't believe our apartment qualified as such. It was dated and dark. There was mold on the shower curtain and it was just a bit neglected. I suppose we paid for the view, but I was under the impression we were also paying for a nicer apartment. Each unit is individually owned, so it's a bit of a gamble where they put you. We stayed here a few years ago and had a wonderful apartment, although no view. I will probably stay here again, but with much lower expectations. They did allow us into the room early and gave us a late check out. Office staff were very nice. Quick 5-7 walk into down, down a steep hill.

This was our third time staying at Monte Dourado and as always it definitely lived up to expectations. The room and amenities within the complex were spotless, albeit some amenities within the room could’ve done for an update (fridge, shower, balcony furniture) however this is nit picking as the view from our room and the comfort and cleanliness more than made up for this. Throughout our stay we received such friendly and helpful service as we always have done, which combined with the above means we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Thank you for another amazing stay.

Our apartment at Monte Dourado was excellent. It was very comfortable and very spacious. 2 big bedrooms and bathrooms, a large balcony, plenty of kitchen appliances to cook, and was really close to the Carvoeiro shops and restaurants.
