Very friendly, safe parking free, great location

The room was clean, friendly staff and centrally located

Trip to Reading was to pick up car and get organized for the rest of the trip. Crown Lodge was convenient and facilitated our activities.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Room very clean and tidy, corridors also very clean. Very quiet and relaxing place, slept very well. Close to the town centre. Overall excellent stay. I would higjly recommend.

Management is fantastic and so incredibly helpful. It is a great stay for the price. Be aware the breakfast is continental. There is an upcharge for hot. I either missed that on Expedia, or Expedia doesn't make that clear. Not sure which. Pleasant stay.

Friendly staff. The room was clean but cramped. Wifi was good. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok for the price. The wall between my room and the adjacent room was paper thin. I could hear my neighbour's TV and telephone calls as though we were in the same room. Soundproofing would make a big difference to the quality of the stay.

Free parking was good but place is just very average bed and breakfast. We have been travelling for 5 weeks and taking all our accommodation into account this place was expensive for the facilities. Hosts are lovely and friendly though.

I only stayed one night but found it comfortable and well appointed for the price. It was conveniently situated. The plumbing was very noisy meaning that we all woke when the first person started washing.

We stayed one night for a night out in reading, good hotel for this, near town. Clean spacious room, with all the basics you’d need.

No air in the room.. To much dust on the table.... Shower door would not close.

Owner very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Good size car park. Room & en suite basic but spotlessly clean. Breakfast room could do with being spruced up a bit but all in all good value in a central location, would stay here again if in Reading.

I stayed here for four nights and was totally pleased with the place. I booked through Expedia and the process was simple. The next day I checked in and was able to check in early. The room was cozy, cleanly, and quiet. The staff are nice and helpful. The price was fair and I would recommend the place for anyone looking for a B&B to stay in. Easy walk to Reading Station and to many shops and restaurants.
