Having come to celebrate our anniversary upon the recommendation of friends, we had a very enjoyable stay. However, I think we were the only clients, served by an officious staff of perhaps 20, just waiting for something to do. When I used the facilities in the spas's locker room, a maid came and immediately took away my towel and robe. In the case of the latter, I note that they have the usual "one-size-fits-all" (too small!) attitude. but it is agreeable that they do supply robes and sandals (slippers) and a generous provision of toweling. The bath sandals are not-very-nice plastic, but suffice. The food in the restaurant is delicious -- as it should be for the price. This is definitely a pricey "special occasion" boutique hotel, with large, beautifully appointed rooms; unfortunately, they have steps to change the levels in the rooms, which can be dangerous in the dark.
