Stay here every year when there is a corporate golf day nearby. Started recommending to others now. Beds are so comfy and the shower is excellent. Rooms feel that extra bit of class

We had room 50 in the attic of the armoury. Very spacious beautiful room. Air conditioning was very welcome in this weather This was our second stay. Very happy we chose to return. Helpful staff and lovely food in the pub. We will be back!

We had an excellent stay at this charming and well run hotel. The manager and his staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them, even to the point of popping to my room to help this technophobe with the TV. The restaurant was excellent and we highly recommend the breakfast. All in all a fantastic experience

Very very very well air conditioned

Stayed in room 35. Dirty carpet, missing tiles in the shower, dirty shower tray. Walls had lots of stains. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness is a real problem.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff were amazing, brekkie was so tasty. Rooms and spacious modern and very clean. We will stay again. Thank you for having us.

Nice hotel with a boutique feel, traditional decor and basic furniture. Lovely staff freindly and super helpful. Little comforts like snack basket were welcome though a little too pricey. The restaurant served excellent home cooked type foods.

Habitación amplia y comoda, aunque la cama estaba un poco incomoda. Delicioso desayuno Inglés y el personal del hotel y del Pub muy amables. Definitivamente volveré.

As advertised, friendly staff

Stayed a couple of nights while visiting Thorpe Park, can't fault anything, staff were all nice, food was delicious, room was great.

Friendly staff Quiet room

Lovely pub, pricey but had a great value for money 3 course set meal for £23 (Running JAN/FEB25) Staff were brilliant. Bathroom & room are really well kept and modern. Only downside was the air con unit, turned it off but kept hearing a mundane noise throughout but still lovely place and would stay again if I’m in the area for work.
