Great cheap place

All very good .. Excellent value Minor criticism that I wasn’t offered an upgrade but not a big deal

Nice, friendly, chilled place to stay with good service.

Lovely clean and well kept property. Walkable to nice small marina with taverns and nice beach access. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great value for money

The hotel is great overall. The Bathroom sink was too small for me. Water splashed on the floor whenever I tried to wash my face.

I’d say this is a very quiet hotel. On the first night the air conditioning wasn’t working in my room which made it very difficult to sleep. They fixed the issue immediately. I did notice that the cleaners didn’t change the bed sheets and they didn’t give me clean towels on my first night. I didn’t spend that much time in the area but it seemed safe. The breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. The pool doesn’t open until around 9.30 and closes at 6pm and the bar was only open 9-11pm

We enjoyed our stay at the Chrysanna Beach Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are well kept, especially the landscaping and beautiful pool area. Our room was bright, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was a mix of cold and hot buffet, which varied slightly in the 10 days of our stay. The official hotel photos make the hotel look amazing, so bear in mind this is a 3* hotel. One of the photos is of Balos Lagoon which is an hour drive away!!! (but worth a trip) We would have liked a shower curtain in the bathroom to avoid a flood every time we showered! Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

The room was NOT what the pictures showed. On the website it look like all is renovated and luminous... It is very clean and all but it looks like a hotel room from a 2 star hotel in cuba. So we were verrry desappointed since this is not what we saw online. The pool is great. the staff is great. Reallly they were. So nothing to say about that. there is nothing much in the village nearby but if you like being in the middle of nowhere (well...all is accessible by car don't worry) then the place is for you. The beach really close to the hotel is not that great (pebbles and some algua and sometimes biiig waves) We stayed 4 nights there. the hotel served as a base for our expedition in the region. Which is great. The menu didn't change once while we were there. so that is a bummer. So i wouldn't recommand it to friends who like nice design hotels. But if you are not to fussy about it .. it was a nice place. I assure you, the pictures showned have been photoshoped at least for the rooms (saturated with brightness so you don't really see the ageded furniture. Rooms are not that bright and furniture is much older (still very clean) they it seems. It was still a great stay but with a sour not about the apparences. Staffs were great. very nice.

Great location, very nice pool, but not good rooms. Rooms are very dated making any long stay quite uncomfortable. Breakfast not good at all. Overall quite overpriced for what it had to offer.

Attractive hotel & pool with friendly staff. Quiet location but only 15 mins walk from village with some lovely seafront tavernas - lots of choice so no need to eat in the hotel at night. Not a sandy beach - but that keeps the crowds away. Good location (with a car) for touring western Crete.

Very relaxing hotel with superb pool. Excellent waterside restaurants a 10 minute walk away. Beds and pillows a bit hard, very slow wifi, but nothing else to complain about!

Wonderful welcome with cold glass of Orange juice. Lovely views of the Sea. Staff very friendly. All areas of the hotel very clean. Pool area very relaxing. Pleasant short walk to the village. Will be returning.

When we arrived there was a problem with the floor tiles in our room and as the hotel was full we had to be moved to another hotel for one night. The staff were very apologetic and paid for a taxi there and back and once we were back here everything was great. The pool was beautiful, spotlessly clean and there were plenty of sun loungers available. We had breakfast every morning which was adequate and we also had lunch in the pool bar a few times which was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel for a quiet holiday in this area or a base to travel around from.

Booked this hotel for a cheapish week in the sun and it ticked all the boxes for us. Good sized pool for the size of hotel, never a problem getting a sun lounger. 10-15 mins walk from Kolymvari where there is a good selection of restaurants. It's a quiet town, no bar scene or rowdiness. Great location for exploring the western part of Crete. Staff were friendly, hotel was well maintained, room was clean, mattress a little on the firm side but that was fine for us. Breakfast not bad for a 3-star hotel, and you can also get dinner at the hotel for a reasonable price.

A beautifully clean, small and quiet hotel with a lovely swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful and had a good knowledge of nearby places to visit. The room itself was a good size but unfortunately ours was in the worse place on the ground floor next to the restaurant. This made it quite public during busy periods during the morning and evening. We didn't like the bathroom which was very tiny and an odd shape which made it difficult to use the toilet and reach the window to open it. ( I had just had a hip replacement) Towels and linen were always clean and there were plenty of them.

The room felt like a bomb room, terrible smell on the bathroom. Nice pool aeria, not possible to swim in the ocean mere the hotel. Hola I had a car.

quite place and very relaxing, the food or all extras of the hotel were not wow- but totally good. this hotel is just if you need to relax and do as little as possible.
