Horrible hotel which is not as advertised. Room smelled like cigarettes, no elevator no restaurants, limited parking. area around the hotel is very sketchy. Felt like a pay-by-the-hour hotel, left after 10 minutes. Felt very unsafe with my family and left and they wouldn't refund me despite it being only 10 mins between checking in and deciding not to stay there.

Was ok. The manager is very friendly and helpful

The water pressure is very bad, and the sink is too small. When attempting to wash the face the entire bathroom got wet. The AC doesn’t work and the room gets very humid

If you have other options, I'd skip this one. Lots of complaints (such as actual glassware, like a wine glass, being "forbidden" in the room due to possible breakage. Really. In Italy wine glasses are not allowed? Haha. Also be sure to argue for the free parking stated in the description, otherwise they will not give out the free pass and will charge you. Basically, unless you get very lucky, there is not free parking, or even parking near the property. So, you have to demand the free parking pass, as they initially will tell you it is not available. We also witnessed 2 other guests arguing with desk staff about various issues, which should have been a red flag. On the plus side it was fairly cheap, but the rooms are super small for more then 1 person.

Only very limited parking and we were told by reception to drive around and look for on street parking bays that were free - non were available, all were resident permit parking only. When we returned we were told that we could park in the hotel garage for €15 but this had to be paid in cash (why)?!! Room is clean but very basic, won’t be staying at the Hotel Ariston again. Poor value for money.

Pretty location, easy to walk to city centre or train station, and the staff were SO helpful. Convenient for many places to eat and drink.

No air conditioning and was very very hot! No bar, smelly and completely without any service including no bar for breakfast. Not nice area even if walking distance from centre

Was a one night stopover on a tour of Europe, hotel was not open until 2pm not staffed 24hrs

Best of high prices not too far out of the centre.

Our room was updated, clean and sophisticated. Small lobby also new looking. Men (not staying at hotel??)seemed to hang around outside the hotel door. There were a couple of stores beside hotel. The neighborhood apart from that seemed OK with some breakfast and meal options.

Loved Bolzano

This is a nice hotel, but it is in a busy area. The receptionist was a pleasant, helpful fellow. The room was nice. It had a great shower, bed and TV. Hallway light switches were a bit difficult to find and some other hotel residents plus myself just walked the hotel corridors in the dark. I don't believe there was an elevator. Although the hotel was on a busy road out front, most of the rooms opened to a quiet residential area out back. I had a pleasant evening. The major problem is parking. I circled the area for nearly an hour trying to find a place to park. There were other cars also waiting - but they were waiting for an illegal spot to open up, so I was at a disadvantage. However, parking seems to be a major problem for all of Bolzano.
