As you walk up the stairs to the apartment there is a strange smell of stale food which is quite sickly Once in the apartment you cannot smell it The apartment is in a fantastic location and is clean

The property was incredibly central and affordable however cleanliness left a lot to be desired and as other reviews mentioned there were hairs on the sheets and stains on towels which wasn’t pleasant. With an upgrade to bedding I would feel significantly better about staying. Also there was a horrid smell in the common area like off cheese however the lift to the third floor was appreciated

I booked an appointment with two bedrooms but instead I got two tiny rooms. The location was amazing but no parking at all. Beds were one person

Checking in was by door code which they sent to me before I arrived so check in was very easy. The room was small but cozy and was perfect because I came to Kraków for the market. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was easy to control. I would stay here again.

Clean and spacious room. Felt safe, even as a solo female traveler. Close enough to the market square so everything is walkable but very quiet at night.

uni kat is in the perfect location when the evening is over in the main sqaure. The rooms are clean and tidy, and at a very reasonable price. I have stayed there three times now, and plan a fourth next christmas. Alan

This is a fuss-free hotel, reception I think is open in the morning - otherwise can be reached by phone (we didn't need to). Self service check-in which is really simple and suited us, the room was clean and well presented for the price. My only comment would be that the lack of air conditioning (or even just a fan), meant that the room was very uncomfortable to sleep in with the window open as it allowed noise from the busy street below to travel up (we were on the 1st floor). Overall good value for money though and I would consider staying here again and would recommend as a budget hotel (especially outside of the heat of the summer - this would be perfect in the spring/autumn).

The single room was small but perfectly fine, and with a nice bathroom. Good large windows that open in case the temperatures get really hot again. Bed was comfortable, wifi good, a nice older building. The only strange thing was that the room included an electric jug but no handy power socket to run it from.

Very basic, at a very good price, but conveniently located above a metro stop and walking distance to many sights. Many eating optins in the area. Super helpful staff.

Really cute little place with a great location about 30 seconds from the main square in the old town. Room was basic but comfortable and felt very secure. It is not a hotel so don't expect lavish extras but as guest houses go it is hard to fault. Definitely worth it for the money, especially given the amazing location.

When we booked this hotel we asked for a disabled room for my Mum. She is in a wheelchair and can get around a small bit without out if she can lean on things. The guest rooms was great I am making the review to help others in Wheelchairs and depending on your level of independence it may be good. Mum couldn’t use the shower as was no grips to get in or out and quite high .. given we was only there a few days she was ok to wash without it.. to access the building there are 3 high steps with a ramp you can put down.. it is quiet steep and took two of us to push up and get down .. the staff was great so am sure they would help but there was a few of us so we did it on our own. If there was a grip rail by bed and in bathroom this would have made it 100 times easier to get around in the room.. hope these comments help others in a wheelchair when booking .. if we went back we could stay again for a few nights .. Krakow generally wasn’t great for an independent person in a chair .. it worked well for us because there was 8 people sharing the pushing on cobbles and lifting up steps

Great Location. Walkable to everything. Great price. Clean and safe. However, you get what you pay for. One towel. No soap. No a/c. Krakow temp was 96f during my stay. Leaving windows open at night in a desperate attempt to avoid melting makes for loud sleep. (Krakovians like to party late.) I'd definitely stay there again, but likely not in July or August. Staff not as knowledgeable as one normally expects about local area. Not bad, only average.

Nice staff. Back to jogging, the reception was closed because of national holiday. They gave phone number to enter the guest room. I made a phone call such an early morning, but a staff took and told the security number. That was very nice.
