Aircon could not be regulated. There was bit of funny smell in the room.

Jaizkibel hotel is wonderfull , and their staff Lili , Oihana , Borja , Iñigo are the jewel . breakfast and service are fantastic .If someone plans to go Hondarribia , please stay at this amazing hotel . also 40 mins from Biarritz and 30 mins from St Jean de Luz in france . thanks of the wonderful days at jaizkibel .

Modern hotel within 5-10 minutes walk to the old town and to the port area with a few good places for a meal or a drink. The old town is a very special not to be missed place. Hondarribia is just a short drive to both Biarritz and San Sebastián which makes it a convenient place to tour both cities. Thanks to all the staff for a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful day with excellent and dedicated staff

We booked this hotel at the last minute because we couldn’t find a hotel in San Sebastian. The hotel is great and the staff superb. Borja and the other young lady in the reception went above and beyond to help us in every way. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely large and very nice. We couldn’t be happier with the choice we made. I highly recommend this hotel.

Outside of main tourist areas but easy walk to both old city and new. Staff was helpful and courteous and hotel was beautiful. Very well-appointed and comfortable. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Will definitely suggest to friends and will return!

We were at Hotel Jaizkibel only one night (3 adults, 2 rooms). The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast included in our rate was excellent. The staff were all very responsive. The only issue we had was that the road the hotel was on was closed in both directions for road constructions./ This was an issue of the city not of the hotel , but the staff seemed to be unaware of this. I was directed to the parking garage by driving through a closed road sign. We were able to exit the same way the following day. We wondered if there were other people at the hotel. Ours was the only car in the parking garage and we did not see anyone else in the hotel or at breakfast.

Amazing stay - beatiful and calm hotel with an understated elegance. Lovely terrace. Great service from helpful and energetic personnel, makes us want to go back.

Clean, modern well-maintained hotel. Comfortable beds. Very nice quiet residential area. Bit of a hike to the sights. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast.Only major negative, their well-reviewed restaurant is only open 4 nights a week, so we were unable to try. A rather ridiculous state of affairs. Everything else about the hotel was great.

Hotel Jaizkibel was awesome - the staff was very friendly and the hotel is well located between the old town and new town in Hondarribia. It is very clean and the rooms are spacious. We highly recommend!

Lovely location a few minutes walk to town center and Old Town. Young lady on Reception so helpful and charming.

Wedding playing loud live music till12pm on Saturday night was not good. No rest. Would have booked elsewhere.

This was a great location for exploring both the old and new sections of town. We enjoyed the patio area for a drink, and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast had a nice variety of choices.

Excellent hotel located about a 5 minute walk from the waterfront and stores. Delightful place to stay. Front desk lady was so very helpful and all very friendly. Put this one on the list as always stay here when in town
