I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other travelers should be aware of our experience. We initially had a pleasant impression of this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed our stay while we were there. Unfortunately, everything changed after we left. The morning before checkout, my husband woke up with numerous itchy bites on his arms and face. At the time, we didn't know what caused them. After returning home, I developed the same bites, and other members of our family have as well. Looking back, I remember seeing two insects in our room during our stay, which we now believe were bedbugs. The hotel should immediately inspect our room and the surrounding rooms to ensure there is not an infestation affecting other guests. To make matters even worse, we also discovered that cash had gone missing from our room during our stay. We reported it to the hotel, but because there are no cameras inside guest rooms, they said they could not verify what happened. Between the missing money and what appears to have been bedbug exposure, this turned what should have been a wonderful vacation into an incredibly stressful experience. We are now dealing with the inconvenience and expense of making sure we don't bring bedbugs into our home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely, comfortable stay – great for families We had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel, especially for families. The breakfast was excellent, with halal-friendly options, and it was very convenient that breakfast runs until 11:30am. The showers were great, rooms were warm and comfortable, and the location is ideal for getting around the city easily. A special thank you to the reception staff, particularly fantastic Omud & Arnold, and to the chef Olag, who were both very helpful in making sure we were comfortable during our stay. All staff were polite and welcoming. We also appreciated the hotel’s AI app, which made it easy to make queries and requests without stress. Overall, a good, well-located hotel for a relaxed family stay. Thank you to the team for looking after us.

The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. The room was small for 4 women, but certainly adequate since we didn’t spend much time there except to sleep. The location is super convenient to anywhere in Amsterdam- 10 minute walk to Vondel Park, 20 minute walk to downtown. Loads of restaurants close by. Highly recommend!

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. There was a very strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom that spread throughout the entire room, making it difficult to breathe or stay comfortably. I reported the issue to the reception several times, but they did not take it seriously or make any effort to resolve it. The lack of response and concern for guests was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel did have some good things about like the location, there were plenty of restaurants and shops close by and it was quite close to city centre which is nice. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also okay, could’ve had more options though. However, the room was horrible and not what we were expecting. The bathroom had a horrid stench and whenever someone showered water would just pool in the bathroom. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and not enough sockets in the room. We also found dead bed bugs on the beds and I ended up leaving the hotel with a bunch of bites all over my arms and back. Personally not worth the money spent on this hotel and would not recommend to anyone.
