Location quite central but a very average appearance in the rooms.

Hadn't stayed there for years so it was a bit of a surprise to see how it's aged. The rooms are quite dark and no Aircon. Rooms on the road side are traffic noisy so beware. Beds are comfy. The food is pretty good and the staff helpful and it's catering more for the regularly tradies who stay there than holiday travellers

Good 2 Night Stay. Room facilities average, small fridge did not meet our needs. Staff courteous & friendly.

A great option in Whangarei as it is not in the centre of town although it's very close to the Town Basin. Surrounded by lots of lawn and trees. Great service and a reasonable restaurant. Comfortable room and a good shower.

Great friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately some of the rooms could do with updates. The smooth edge on the carpet is sharp and digs into your feet.

Last minute booking. Friendly receptionist on arrival. Great room layout, big bed, fantastic breakfast with helpful and friendly staff. Only negative was other guests who smoked outside their room near ours, and the smoke smell came into our room.

It was cheap at the present rate charged by other Hotels.

Very tired old hotel that needs some upkeep. Location is great as it is close to amenities.

Great place to stay very central and super clean warm room.

I chose the cheapest room for a quick overnight stay, was surprised it was so comfortable. The bed was snug and the shower was good. Everything was very clean and tidy, plus plenty of safe parking.

Double glazing although expensive would help cut the noise from the nearby busy road. Fulton Hogan work crews staying at the same time, kept us awake chatting in a large group outside after 11pm.

Great staff, excellent chefs on site, good food and just helpful.
