It was a nice budget place. Beds were pretty comfortable and AC worked well. Staff was very helpful when we needed to change rooms due to loud music being played directly behind our room. Pool was clean but a little overchlorinated. Hammocks were all wet and smelly. Need to be replaced or cleaned. We would probably come again though. Being right by the ocean and in walking distance from good eats was great You can even walk to Playa Con Chal or get a quad taxi.

La plage directement devant l’hôtel c’est playa Brasilito sable gris/noir . La belle plage qu’on voit dans l’annonce sur Expédia c’est la plage À CÔTÉ ( playa Conchal) où tout le monde va

Room and area around the hotel is always clean and maintained properly by staff. Especially Felix who is always around to help if needed. This is a rustic hotel and many locals from in and around Costa Rica come to visit and stay. It’s welcoming and comforting if that’s the vibe you are after. There are many noises. Roosters all day every day, doesn’t matter the time of day. Birds. And lots of them. Then you have the busy intersection, there are Sodas (local restaurants) in the area behind the hotel, and the gives a vibe of liveliness. Which I didn’t mind at all, it added to the experience of Pura Vida. The proximity to everything you need and want is within walking distance.

Clean room- staff were incredible. The view of the ocean was amazing and the restaurant below was delicious.

The hotel is connected to a really good restaurant that serves stellar food (breakfast, lunch, dinner - breakfast not included in the hotel price). The hotel is just a few steps from the brasilito beach. And it’s only a few minutes to walk to Playa Conchal, which is a way nicer beach than playa brasilito. Playa Conchal’s sand is made up of crushed seashells, which makes the water crystal clear blue. Well worth a visit! If you like snorkeling there’s also decent snorkeling at playa conchal. The staff at the hotel is awesome, always very happy and makes you feel very welcome. My favorite memory was to wake up early, before our kids woke up, and grab a coffee and enjoy the ocean view and take a walk on the beach. They have a nice (but small) pool, but since the hotel is right next to the beach we ended up spending all our days on the beach. The only minor complaint was that the room we stayed in was a bit small, so it made it hard to stay organized with suitcases for 4 people. But overall we had a fantastic time.

It is a budget hotel with everything you need. Nice bed, shower and AC. Rustic but cool. Beach front and a pool, loved the hammock outdoors in the shade ! We had dinner at the restaurant and food was great. Short 7 minutes walk to playa conchal where we spent most of our days and only a 6 minutes drive to playa flamingo!

Can't beat the location right in the beach Hotel Brasilito is at the centre of it all. Good restaurant with amazing ambience -beach view and live music - attached. I would call this more of a hostel than a hotel though because accomodations are rustic. Down sides were that there is no safe for valuables, windows don't lock in ground level rooms which can raise safety concerns for some, very limited parking and no water bottle fill station was an inconvenience. Also the ceiling fan looked so dodgy once turned on we decided against using it. Overall though a great little spot and we would go back.

Location was amazing and staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the extra outdoor space including the pool area, it allowed for the property to feel like a great home base. Area was safe and my 10 year could walk up to the minimart on the corner for snacks! You can hear the waves but you can also hear that rooster in the morning.

Lovely little beach hotel with pool and restaurant on Playa Brasilito. Easy walk to Playa Conchal. My only suggestion would be coffee makers added to the rooms or a coffee bar set up in the restaurant.

Everything is right there friendly staff it’s a three star hotel with five star atmosphere I highly recommend it

Hotel Brasilito more like hotel grossilito! We didn’t feel safe in this property. There was hair in the bed sheets when we arrived, the windows didn’t seal all the way so bugs were in it. My mom turned on the faucet and black water came out of the sink. The showers and toilets were dirty with grime running down. We check for bed bugs on the bed and then found hair all over the sheets! Looks like room wasn’t cleaned at all. They had a lot of stray pets in the bottom of the hotel, where the restaurant is, they were friendly animals but one cat looked diseased infested and looked like it was dieing, bless the poor things heart. Definitely not following any health or cleaning regulations in this place. There were 3 parking spots available for all the residents. We did not even spend the night, we left within 30 minutes and booked another hotel. We put in a request to cancel our stay over the next two days of our stay there and are still awaiting a refund. Bryan the desk worker was nice.

Nice little hotel right on the beach. We enjoyed the waves and having the restaurant right there. Unfortunately the food took a really long time to get, but it was tasty. There was a person working in the railing at 7am throwing the pieces on top of each other being very loud so that was annoying, but I would stay again for the price. We enjoyed having the pool also
