Always great to stay here. Very close to the Stadium and metro. The staff are just amazing and even remember my name and habit. Will be back next week

As funny as it may sound, the stairwell was very clean and bright; one doesn't often find that.

Staff and location is amazing. It’s just a tad bit noisy , as you are pretty much in the heart of the city . But non the less would stay there anytime again and again . Thank you

Good value. A little far from the beach, but we expected that. AC was not good. Breakfast was delicious!

Clean, well-kept and updated hotel, nice staff, good location (5min walk to a main metro line), noisy on a busy street, excellent breakfast (various hot and cold options for a cost). We had trouble with the a/c but quickly had a maintenance guy clean the filter to get it running. No real amenities but that was fine for us.

Hotel Lugano is a decent place to stay. It's located on a big street within walkable distance to the train and bus as well as many stores and restaurants. The elevator is tiny so bringing large suitcases with more than 2 people at a time could be a challenge. Basic necessities such as facial tissue was scarce or a notepad/paper to write on was no where to be found. There were no hooks to hang anything in the bathroom. When asked for a back up roll of toilet paper, the receptionist said they would deliver to the room, which never happened.

Great Hotel! Very nice, clean and great location! Staff was very helpful and the breakfast bar was outstanding!! Highly recommend!

Very easy to get to!

I stayed here last year & loved it so booked again. Great location - just a few minutes from Poble Sec Metro, which is on L3 and goes to Catalunya square, Gracia, Espanya etc Nice breakfast every day, with nice bread, eggs, fresh fruit & even a nice slice of cake! (and loads more) Will be back again next year 😀

This was my second stay at Hotel Lugano. My first visit was very good, which is why I returned—but sadly, this time the experience left a lot to be desired. I booked the same type of room as before, but as a single occupant I was given a very small single bed, which was uncomfortable and not what I expected. The air conditioning kept switching off and, despite calling room service multiple times, I was repeatedly told to "close the window"—even though the window was already shut. Eventually, maintenance discovered that the seal around the window had come loose, which was triggering the AC to turn off. This should’ve been picked up earlier. On the plus side, the room was clean and when I requested an iron and ironing board, it arrived quickly. However, the ironing board was unusable as it had a large tear in the surface. The biggest issue was breakfast. As a vegetarian, options were extremely limited—mostly just pastries, which made it feel like eating dessert every morning. Even worse, I found ants crawling on the croissants, and my colleague discovered bugs on the cheese and meats. We reported this to reception and were told it would be addressed, but it certainly put us off eating there again. While the hotel’s location is excellent, the overall experience this time around was disappointing. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
