Staff were lovely

The Snooty Fox is a lovely pub/hotel offering a cordial and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed an evening meal and a very nice breakfast. The staff are terrific and efficient. Our short stay was enjoyable and great value for money. We’ll go back anytime. Tetbury is delightful and walkable with many interesting individual shops.

Wasn't told work going on. Scaffolding up and workmen outside bedroom window at 8.30. Steps up to bedroom and near bathroom so felt these were unsafe to get out of bed to use the bathroom in the night. Need to be further away from the bed or even gated. Rooms need an upgrade, fresh paint, new carpets.

The room was fine, the service not so good. On arriving we found our TV remote was missing. Our room apparently had just had a new TV. We had to ask 4 times over a 5 hour period before it was dealt with. The 2 nd time of asking was with the manger who said it would be dealt within a few minutes. The same manager overheard the 4th request and stated they were going as fast as they could, no apology. He had obviously forgotten the 2nd request several hours earlier. This is plain poor service combined with a poor management attitude has meant we would probably not use the hotel again.

Stayed for just one night but room was very comfortable and clean. Restaurant food and breakfast was great and the service second to none.

Comfortable option in a central location with a wonderful cafe and restaurant open when everything else is shut! Would stay again. No elevator if you have mobility issues.

We loved the central location of the hotel within Tetbury and were able to get to where we wanted to go by walking from the hotel. The hotel room was very small, but we managed admirably. My husband was unwell one day and the hotel staff were wonderful, bringing us lemon and honey tea and iced-water, which helped enormously. It would have been good though to have a vegetarian afternoon tea available without pre-booking. The cakes had gelatine in them (why?!), so we declined to order, as we didn't have the days available to wait before we left.

We stayed here for one night before heading on to somewhere else. The Snooty Fox is full of character and the staff and food were excellent

Right in the centre of bustling Tetbury - easy walk to everything. Great cocktails nice big room comfy bed - a bit hot but we brought our own fan so all was fine. Very dog friendly & wonderful breakfast 10/10
