The hotel is extremely well situated right on the front and close to the pier. It is currently undergoing some much-needed maintenance, leading to some unwelcome building noise and obstructions. There were a number of issues with our room, including a shower which would not drain properly, and dodgy wifi, leading also to problems with the TV. They did try to sort these out, but ultimately unsuccessfully. Service at breakfast was very poor. The self-service cereal etc table consisted of a single box of cornflakes (not replenished while we were there), and coffee was the same instant sachets provided in the room. We also had to wait about 15 minutes before someone came to take our order. There are no dining facilities, despite the website still mentioning a fish and chip shop and a Caribbean « soul restaurant »
