Place was awesome as USUAL However the Grain tower was not open for kids to check out like last year. My daughter was super bummed. I overheard a few families with a couple kids that were dissapointed also. 😔

I share the space with my daughter ,her husband, and my grandson. I figured I should sleep in bottom bunk and my grandson sleep in top one. However, it was way to small to get in and out of for me. Had there been another foot of vertical space it would have been good. The bunk beds are a terrific option for younger children not grandmas

Great place to stay. We loved it.

I was disappointed at the appearance of the inside of the caboose that we were assigned to. It was run down and didnt look anything like the pictures on the website. The door closed and locked but there was an opening at the bottom of the door that mice could easily come in. There was a tv by one bed, but could not be seen from the other bed. Would have liked a small table and chair to use to play board games, rather than the bed. Also, no blackout drapes. Cute train curtains, but the 6am sun shone completely through the curtains. Not too confindent we'd stay again. If we are in the area, we mistlike would stop and eat at the restaurant. The food was good and the service was fantastic

The location and place is perfect, needs updating. Great for family with kids who loves adventure and farm life.

We love the Red Caboose for our yearly Christmas visit to Strasburg.

Very interesting place to stay in a caboose.A little rustic everything worked hot water coffee maker tv.

It was very nice and unique. Lots for kids right there. Could use a little updating ie shower needs a removable shower head . It was tough to get completely wet with stationary shower head. But other than that we enjoyed it very much.

Very enjoyable. Small showers so be prepared! Rounded shower curtains rods would help add some extra shoulder room for us larger older men. Great breakfast at Casey Jones!

The Red Caboose is a neat place but the staff were quick and efficient. Wonderful experience!!!!
