Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. My room was lovely, with a view of the Ziller Valley. The way the hotel is designed is really clever, linking up the two pools, indoor and outdoor rooftop, which are both wonderful, as are the saunas. Food is mainly buffet and high quality. The fresh fruit for breakfast (a facet of any good hotel in my view) was ideal. Great selection of fresh breads. I was surprised...my tarrif included breakfast, late lunch and dinner. Good value. The English equivalent would possibly be a 5 star hotel in many aspects. The staff seem to take a great pride in their work, as they should do. I used some of my rusty German, but English was well spoken by the staff. The area is lovely. I was unable to walk far due to a bad leg, but got up the Penkenbahn Gondola for a drink at the top to watch the paragliders at 2000m. It was stunning and a pleasant 17 degrees at height. I know it will be very busy come ski season, but I'm sure such a well-organised place will cope well. If my leg recovers, I would like to try the Zillertal ski area. Thanks go to all involved in this marvellous business.

Good facilities and food

A family ski trip with a non skier. Amenities at hotel were fantastic the location to Penken bahn was great with ski bus opposite. Food was fabulous and all staff were super friendly and helpful.

Wonderful pools, sauna and food at the restaurant. Service is great. Located close to the ski gondola. Will definitely come again.

Traditional and clean. Restaurant staff were excellent and extremely friendly.

The location was convenient for both the train station and the ski bus so you barely had to carry your skis at all. The hotel was spotless and the food was so good. Spa area is great with multiple saunas and a pool and relaxation area, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Nice hotel comfort for sport families holiday With good restaurant and bar

A wonderful, traditional, family-owned hotel that despite being large, offers very friendly and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent, and you couldn't ask for more!

Lovely friendly staff especially our waiters ferenc & darius food was very tasty and plenty of it only gripe need better pillows and thought the lounge area on 2nd floor could be utilised better by having bar in it

Well, it’s a family run hotel and the beauty of it is being close to all the ski activities in addition providing absolutely amazing meals and facilities.

The food and spa area were fantastic. Also had a chill out lounge to sit in, which made up for the smaller but adequate room sizes.

Spa are and breakfast buffet were the highlights, comfy bed great atmosphere and staff helped as well

Junior suites are spacious and comfortable. Staff are courteous. Half board excellent (typically Austrian - lovely salad buffet, plenty of meat). Worst thing : no in-room coffee facilities

Hotel is very well kept, clean and tidy, but a little dated in places.

I would make the bar and restaurant non smoking. Ruins the atmosphere for guests. Most people seems to go out to smoke. Swap out the bartender for someone a little less more personable. Wouldn’t serve us hot drinks at the bar.

Had a totally amazing stay. Friendliness of staff and food (half board) far exceeded our expeditions. Hotel was super clean and in a great spot on the edge of the main strip, across the road from the ski bus stop and a 3 minute walk to the train station. Our only complaint was the temperature of the pool which was far too cold for a spa pool. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

We loved our stay at Hotel Neue Post! Group of 3 couples in early/mid-thirties. Hotel in brilliant location and full of character. Stayed in room 406 which was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Also cleaned extremely well each day. Hotel Neue Post is a family run business and it shows - fantastically friendly staff and helpful. Restaurant is superb with everything you could wish for at breakfast and wonderful dinners. Ferenc served us for most of the week and possibly the best service we've had anywhere - thank you! Strongly advise booking a wine tasting in Hotel Neue Post's stunning cellar. We had no idea how much wine is produced in Austria nor how good it is! Thomas chose 3 whites & 3 reds for us and without hesitation we would say all we're very good wines. To summarise this place is not to be missed!

The hotel was very well appointed, with a delicious 5 course meal every evening served by an attentive waiter, and a plentiful buffet breakfast. The sauna facilities were excellent. I was surprised, however, that my single room was the same price as my friend's, yet his had an en suite bath (mine was a shower), a balcony (unlike mine), and his room was larger.

We loved this hotel from the moment we stepped inside. The staff was warm and welcoming and the lobby was charming. Rooms were comfortable and we had a nice balcony with an awesome view of the snow covered alps. The location is perfectly situated in town where you can walk to shops and restaurants and to the ski lift. The food was incredible! A 5-course meal perfectly prepared each evening. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to go back someday!
