We loved the location and unique setting the hotel provided. The bathroom was small but the bedroom area was spacious. In July, the AC was perfect!! We would return again.

A very special place. Loved the hotel, the room was fantastic. Comfortable and spacious. My only criticism would be …. Needs to be a few more clothes hanging options.

The apartment was a nice size for a family of 5. Close to all amenities. Walking distance from all sites.

I am not sure anywhere in Amsterdam is “off the beaten track”, but the area felt very local with few noticeable sign of tourists.

Noisy, dirty, smelly, old place to stay at. On the first floor the Walls and windows are paper thin. You can hear cars, people walking and talking outside your room. I couldn’t sleep with the hotel desk clerk singing outside our door! Hotel towels were crusty and stained. Hotel staff didn’t even want to get up off the sofa to help us. The only redeeming factor is view of canal but you have to put up with people smoking and drinking right outside. We checked out after our first night losing 2 night worth of fees.

charming but we were on the 5th floor- no elevator and the narrowest steepest stairs ever. But- that’s Amsterdam for you. the hotel staff were all helpful and the room was great. Updated and spacious bathroom. floors a little dusty throughout but it didn’t bother us.

Standard Amsterdam building in a great area, modernized and divided into hotel rooms. Clean, spacious, rooms. Basic amenities. Not sure what makes it boutique or 4-stars but it’s definitely a nice place to stay for a few nights.

A Quirky hotel wi5h a great location. We had a canal view room which had beautiful bug windows thay ipened up. The room itself was small, to be expected in a hiayorical building. Its in beed of some TLC though, floora in rough shape, walls need paintin, the bathroom smelled moldy, the caulk all around needs to bw replaced. The fosset lwaked and plumbing was held together by ducktape. Overall the hotel needs a refresh, its tired and not very clean when you take a close look. Free coffee, snacks and water in the lobby all throughout was appreviated, though there is limited lobby seating. Personel was friendly and helpful. Overall a decent stay to be right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam

The staff were wonderful and helpful at all time . Unfortunately we got there during the Amsterdam train strike and they were very helpful. The rooms are good for Europe . Each room has coffee machine and fridge with drinks that they provide. The best part was the staff , good , kind and nice

Great location! Staff was great. Lighting could be better. Had issues with the shower overflowing. Then attempted to fix and then the bathroom had A sewage smell. Wished it was a better stay for us.

Was good overall, but the most obvious is the lack of a real concierge. There is one person at a small desk 24/7 who clearly is not directly invested in the management of the hotel. This is essentially a room, not a hotel

We loved it here. The place was clean and the staff is very hospitable. Just be prepared to carry your luggage up steep, narrow stairs. But itvwas well worth the struggle. We had an amazing view and window in room 12!

Location is perfect!! Amal view from the room was spectacular. Be warned tho. Very steep stairs for anyone with mobility issues. The staff was willing to help with bags. Nicely appointed.
