The staff was friendly, helpful and extremely generous. The pool was clean and food was amazing. On our first night, we were given a tour of the hotel, where we learned about its history and how they remain committed to ecotourism. Definitely recommend as it is close to Palma and Cala D'or

We had a great time there. They have a great outdoor pool with plenty of sun beds. It also has indoor pool and jacuzzi, a cold plunge, tenis court and racquets and balls available. Breakfast is usually abundant and great. We had dinner there twice and was probably the best meals during our stay. David, Maria and Raul and most of the guys in the restaurants are very helpful. The room was big enough for our family of 4. We love how dark the rooms get and enjoyed waking up late. We traveled during summer and it was easy to commute to Palma, Portocristo, Cala d’Or, Portocolom, Santanyí and other nice places around. Highly recommend this place if you want to relax stay away from crowds.

Beautiful relaxed place. Everything was perfect.

We have spent a week at Sa Bassa with our extended family (grandparents, babies, toddlers, teenagers), and the hotel was perfect to accommodate our various needs. The menu varies from day to day and offers fresh, healthy and delicious food options with ingredients sourced directly from the island accompanied by excellent wines. The staff was always very attentive and helpful. They were able to accommodate a request for a ‘big family style’ paella at a short notice. A very relaxing place to get pampered.

There were flies and a lizard in the room in arrival. The AC wasn’t on. The curtains were not quite on the rail. Not what I expected.

Stayed here for a wedding, a very country hotel. If you want to get away from it and relax this is the place for you. The suite is pretty decent and restaurant and breakfast just ok. The finca is great for nice walks and runs. Really great to have access to bikes. The wedding we attended was done fantastically, so highly suggest for a wedding.

An error by the hotel gave us a room that was adjacent to a wedding reception making it practically unusable for the first night. We were moved to the correct room you the following day and the rest of the booking. Once in the correct room everything was excellent, a great place for a quiet and relaxing break in the Mallorca countryside. A car is a must if you want to leave the hotel.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, other guests were considerate. There was a wedding whilst we were there which was interesting and nice to watch.

Very rural location. Very peaceful and quiet. Everyone very laid back, maybe a little too much. Food was rated as a-la-carte, however, food was very nice, but not a-la-carte. Set menu every evening, little disappointing, would have preferred a little more variety, but did work in this very small environment hotel. Some of the young waiting staff, very inexperienced and it showed. Other than your room and pool, very little to do. Had advertised a shop at hotel, not ready to open on my visit, table tennis offered but not available. You would need a car for any significant length of stay, as no shop nearby for essential personal purchases. In bad weather, there is very little or nothing to do other than retreat to your room or the library. There was a lot of repair work visually happening, I think personally they have advertised too much too early to open and be able to offer what has been promised.

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere so you'll need transport. Facilities are good, the restaurant was way over priced for the food quality and range of menu. The air conditioning units are a little temperamental and night times were a tad uncomfortable but then it was mid July.

We travelled from England to stay in the hotel for one weekend because of a large family birthday party we were having nearby in Porreres. We enjoyed being in the hotel which is interesting to look round, the quietness of the countryside, the wonderful coffee and fresh breads every morning and the many facilities you have for guests. Sadly we didn't have time to use the Spa and it was too cold for the outdoor pool. Despite that, we really enjoyed our short stay there and thank you all for your courtesy and helpfulness to us.

A real find and worth the effort finding it ! We recommend the Suites overlooking the lovely outside pool (there is an inside pool too with Hot tub,Sauna, Steam room, Gym etc). Excellent restaurant as well. Great value all round.

Nice facilities and lovely staff and food, BUT soundproofing between rooms non existent so a couple of very disturbed nights

Very accommodating for two young children (our biggest fear from the stay). A very good restaurant worth every penny (although worth knowing that it's going to be expensive before your stay). Would have benefited from proper air conditioning - a unit in each room was old-fashioned and fairly inefficient. Enjoyed the activities in the hotel and are really pleased we too the plunge and stayed here.

What a find! You would never know this is here, but you must find it as it is a gem. Luxury room, great breakfast, lovely pool, helpful staff. This is so peaceful in the middle of the Majorcan countryside. I couldn't really think of a downside other than the nearby towns (in any direction) have little in the way of restaurants and only a few local bars. So eat at the hotel as the menus seemed interesting and fairly priced. Oh that and the friendly puppy "Bassa" in reception, bit into my wife's dress just playing, but tore a chunk out when we finally got him to release his little teeth! It actually didn't spoil anything.

Sa Bassa is a nicely converted old farm that must have belonged to a rich rather than poor farmer. It is full of charm and and character. The swimming pool is clean and very well looked after. Our room in the main building was very comfortable albeit a little warm due to the fact that there was no air con. The staff are polite albeit a little distant sometimes. We only had dinner there once and found the food ok. Worth noting that the hotel is very popular with German families and couples, who are very quiet. Consequently, the breakfast buffer cater for German taste. Expect lots of cheese and meats!

Die Finca liegt etwas abseits und ist sehr schön. Der erste Eindruck ist sehr gut. Die Area um den Pool ist schön. Man kann dort gut entspannen. Wirklich positiv hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Leider setzt sich der positive Eindruck in keinster Weise bei den Zimmern fort. Diese sind maximal 2 Sterne und leider etwas abgewohnt. Beim Frühstück musste man leider jeden Tag mehrere Male in der Küche nachfragen, ob die leeren Platten bitte wieder aufgefüllt werden könnten. Für ein angeblich 4 Sterne Haus erwarte ich mehr. Das vorhandene Potential wird leider nicht genutzt.
