A good place to stay in Kata. Near the beach and restaurants. Truly recommended.

Nice peaceful area. Close to the main road and convenient to several good local shop house restaurants including Mala Restaurant for good cheap breakfast from 80 baht. Just up the hill half a block to the left is a great massage house called Smile Sabai w/a fabulous 1.5 hour deal for 390 baht. Rama Kata has great beds for a nice nights sleep. Not luxury but comfortable. A great deal especially off season.

Nice location, just ten minutes to the kata beach; the owner is very nice and they have 24 hours check in; the breakfast is simple but nice.

Budget accommodation convenient to inexpensive restaurants in a quiet location. The beach isn't more than 10 minutes away. Room was not large but comfortable bed and very good wifi. Cable reception was also good with a wide selection of English channels. Staff and owners very friendly. Not a honeymoon retreat but nice comfortable at a great price.
