Quite basic but used a base for Rome day trip on the train - 10 min walk to the station and ticket 4 euros each way. Breakfast basic but served in nice friendly cafe and good staff. Public parking outside of property 7euros a day on easy park app.

Lovely quaint hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect

There was no permanent desk support that you can coordinate with. However, the staff at the restaurant was very helpful in getting us transportation to get to CIVITAVICHIA. A vey nice, peaceful place to stay that is very convenient to dining, shopping, and sightseeing.

Good place to stop for one night prior to embarkation on a cruise ship. Is easy to get the train from Santa Marinella to the port. We had what was called a suite, but was really just a good size room with access to a nice terrace overlooking the square opposite. The bed was very comfortable and the staff in the bistro below were friendly but English is not spoken too well. The shower and bathroom was tiny but adequate for one night. Would be much improved by some nicer furniture on the terrace but ok for one night. Lots of very nice restaurants opposite, the seafood one was outstanding. No minibar as such but a small fridge with a couple of bottles of water and juice in. No glasses or plates but we borrowed a couple of glasses from the bistro below (and a bottle opener!) Breakfast is one pastry and coffee (I asked for an extra cup of coffee and was given one) The main issue I had with this hotel is that I tried several times to contact them previous to travel, even through Hotels.com and never received a response so was a bit worried that it would all be boarded up when we arrived but all was ok.

The stay was good. Came with kids and host waited for me. However, probably by mistake I got double charged. Expedia charged me for the hotel and the hotel host charged me as well. So, be careful.

I loved everything about the hotel. We stayed in the suite for 3 nights prior to a cruise. The room, staff, location...everything was wonderful. I just want others to be aware of 2 things. 1)The website clearly quotes airport transfer shuttle for €50 for car, not pp. We were greeted at the airport by a very friendly driver & transported safely to the hotel...the fee however, was €150(€175 if paying with credit card). When discussed with the owner she just replied that transportation is seperate from the hotel & they don't control the prices. Please correct that on your website. 2)The suite is located on the 3rd floor of a building behind the hotel. I absolutely loved the room & have no complaints, just want others to be aware that if you have heavy luggage, there are no elevators.

Front desk person was very helpful and accommodating.

We checked in late, but the man and woman at the front desk were so helpful and got us all checked in, as well supplied us with an adapter for our phone chargers... love the little cafe for breakfast in the morning as well 😍

For those waiting to cruise and think about an extra day in the Civitavecchia area instead of Rome, this is a good option. It's not far by car to Civitavecchia and provides basic housing. There are no frills, no lobby of significance, or room amenities worth mentioning. This is straightforward housing while you restfully wait for your cruise. The beach area is an easy 10 minute walk. Nearby neighborhood has some fine houses. The plaza behind the hotel has a handful of restaurants and is a delightful setting. Parking is a bit of a challenge though not overwhelming if you can walk a block or two. Staff was courteous at both the hotel and the cafe/bar a short distance away. There is not a lot to do but that's a good thing for those who don't want to deal with the frenetic trip from Rome or its airport on the cruise's start date. The archeological site- a seaside fort and medieval village a few miles south, Pyrgi, is also an excellent visit for those interested in Roman and medieval life in this area. It is also adjacent to a beach to its north, so bring a swim suit.

It's a cot but seriously liked it. Very comfy. Hotel wasn't bad, very clean and friendly staff. Thanks!!

this is a small Hotel that is basic but very clean. The woman running the hotel is very nice and friendly. we chose a package which included breakfast for six euros per person which was a good value
