Noisy surrounding but it was holidays

I recently stayed at SunCity and had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great hospitality!

Friendly helpful staff. Spacious rooms.

Our stay wasn’t comfortable. There was no proper maintenance in the rooms. We stayed for 7 nights and had to change rooms due to poor air conditioning, a bathroom with water all over the floor, and a faulty combination lock. We also had to replace the tea machine. There were limited service items like cups and spoons—we had to wait for them to be washed and returned.

The area the hotel is in is very isolated. The room itself had dirty carpets and walks

The room was dirty, carpet & bathroom. Had to call the front desk 5 times before they decided we were right the air conditioning not working. Had to check out at 3am and it took them till 11pm to switch us to a room with working air.

It’s not a 5 star property, it’s a very run down motel . It’s in a very unsafe place . Staff is amazing

The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful, going the extra mile in helping my husband get around in his wheelchair. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room was spotless and quite lovely. What a wonderful introduction to Egypt!

this hotel is fine for an overnight stay if all you need is a bed before catching an early morning flight. the rooms are large and clean with good air con. as others have notes, the surrounding area is pretty grim (incl a defunct mall by the highway). the breakfast offerings are also not great - we walked 15 mins to the closest shop to grab a bun/bagel instead. take it for what it is - a cheap bed close to the airport before catching a flight.

You get what you pay for, I paid $88 CAD a night. Considering the price being cheaper than most hotels in the area this was a good stay however if I had paid $150 CAD a night I would expect a little more cleanliness in the room as in sheets and pillows and such and a working air conditioner/heater. However there is security and for the most part the hotel can be considered safe, and the service good but the surrounding area is torn buildings and an abandoned mall. There is nothing nearby but it is close to the airport if that’s something you value.

It is 2 star not 5 as advertised Old Not updated for years Bad hotel entrance You have to go through small elevator to get into the main lobby

It was good. We only stayed for a night to catch our flight the next day.

Very nice room comfortable a little bit dated the door that closed the area where the fridge was was a little bit loose. One of the lights was flickering, but we’re always really good.
