The location is fantastic. Just around the corner, you're right in the heart of Ximending, with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and public transport all within walking distance. The reception area is comfortable and includes a shared lounge where guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, juice, candies, and chocolates throughout the day. There is also a hot water dispenser and a water refill station, which is a nice touch for guests carrying reusable bottles. The room is very minimalist and fairly small (approximately 2.5 × 2.5 meters, plus the bathroom). The shower has excellent water pressure, but the half-glass shower screen isn't very practical, as water tends to splash across the bathroom floor. We stayed in a corner room, which was quite humid. The hotel provided a dehumidifier, which helped, but the room had no windows (as clearly stated when booking). Personally, I wouldn't choose a windowless room again, as it felt a bit claustrophobic. Housekeeping is not provided daily unless requested, and there is an additional charge of TWD 300 per service. Check-out is at 12:00 PM. If you need a late check-out, the hotel charges TWD 300 per additional hour. However, if you don't wish to extend your stay, they are happy to store your luggage free of charge after check-out, allowing you to enjoy some last-minute shopping or a meal before heading to the airport. Overall, considering the room rate, I think this hotel offers honest value for money. If you plan to spend most of your time exploring Taipei rather than staying in the room, it's a good option. The location is definitely its strongest point, although the rooms themselves could be improved.
