Great location!

The property was fine for location, price and cleanliness. The check in is a bit awkward as the manager didn't respond to my text, so I had to call. Then when she gave me a code to unlock the door, it turned out she neglected to tell me you have to push another button even though I asked if you needed to do anything besides numbers like a # sign. Fortunately another guest showed me how to get in the room using the key pad. There was a symbol besides the four numbers. He said he's been at that room befoer and the door keypad was a little difficult.

The check in was super easy. They text you the door code. Rooms were really cute and the oak tree / garden area in the back was adorable. I knocked off some points because the floors in our room were dirty and the shower water was rusty even after running the water for a long time.

Great location and a lovely cozy feel!

I enjoyed my stay. The mattress was a little soft for me. The bathroom sink drain wasn’t working properly. The room was very clean, air conditioning worked well. Location was optimal.

The hand towel in the bathroom had been used. The person at the inn was annoyed at us for needing help to get into the room, the code that was given to us did not work. The chairs and tables behind the inn were very dirty, with bird poop on the back of the chairs, everything was very dusty. We could not sit and relax as we wanted to do.

We loved staying at this property. Will be staying here again for sure.

The hotel room was very nice. However, we couldn't get anybody at the front desk to help us with anything.It was all via text and a phone call. And it was a little on the expensive side for what was provided.

Asked for ice and received it 4.5 hours later, floor boards move and pinch your feet, towels were thin, snagged and old. Zero artwork on walls and remote control didn’t control the volume of the TV. The shower took 15 minutes to get hot water when water is scarce. Just very low effort to make it nice.

This property has a very late 4pm check in. If you need to check in earlier it costs an extra $40. There was no plug in near the vanity. The couple who helped us check in and answered our questions were very nice and professional. We will recommend.

Clean, great location, quiet, close to Julian center.

We had a great 4th of July with our dog. It was very quiet and we lived that Julian Cidery was walking distant. Great restaurant on site as well, Jeremy's on the Hill.

We were pleasantly surprised about Apple Tree Inn! We were staying in Julian for 2 nights, and we had a good time! The place was clean with a great rustic feel (no bugs either! We thought we would have to fight critters due to the area). It is right next and across the street from some restaurants so you have easy access to food, and staff were attentive (through messaging) if we ever stay again, we will definitely look into staying here again
