Lovely hostel away from the town . Room in old building so not the most modern but adequate for 4 tired hungry cycling friends. Secure bike storage available. First hostel we found had a full menu available. Lovely setting. Nice friendly staff. And easy to find as on the “nodes” network Breakfast lovely too!

We had to purchase towels and soap …

Great swimming canal, easy bike paths, nice restaurants Hot in summer, bring your own fans!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quite spartan - without towels and very basic. The breakfast was good. The main attraction is all the nature / biking trails around the property.

It was difficult to get hold of the front desk before arrival. But once there, he was great: very helpful and kind. A beautifull envinroment!!

We were on a family trip when we stayed at this hostel in Bunnik. As far as the rooms go, they are as expected for a hostel with bunk beds and few amenities. The rest of the hostel completely exceeded expectations. The grounds were gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed walking all over the trails. The breakfast was also wonderful. It kept us full well into the afternoon. We would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers in The Netherlands.

Beautiful setting in nature, great options for meals.

Beautiful setting and great breakfast - our problem was we arrived in a heatwave, were on the second floor, sweltered through a miserable night and woke to find the kids had been eaten alive by mosquitos (it’s on a river/canal). The beds were covered in vinyl and so extra hot and sweaty, and linens provided were clean but not necessarily breathable. If the weather is good, this is a great place. Staff were wonderful.

The place has a long way to go to look inviting and presentable. Not good value for money. Too many projects going on. Might be ok sometime in the future

It was a lovely! Everyone working there was helpful and friendly. The room was big and clean. The location and buildings were beautiful.

I would not recommend this at all to a family. Might be ok for one person. It was terrible for a family. Way overpriced. We had to leave before breakfast was served. We had to rent a towel and buy shampoo. The rooms were cramped. This was our very worst stay on a 8 day vacation. Terrible. It says no smoking, but there was a cigarette butt under the bed.

I enjoyed my visit to this hostel. I was surprised how far it was from the city centre, but there is a regular bus service for a reasonable price. The pleasant location, on the edge of farmland makes up for the distance from the city centre. It is very peaceful, and on a pleasant morning there are tables outside where you can eat your breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I was in a mixed sex dormitory on a lower bunk. There was a toilet and shower within the room. There are no facilities to lock up any valuables in the dormitory area.

See if bicycle rental could be cheaper/easier - maybe included with stay?

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The hostel was located close to Utrecht in lovely Dutch countryside.Breakfast was reasonable and fresh. I stayed with 3 adults & 2 children and we enjoyed The local pancake house which was very popular with the locals, food was tasty only adpect which causedproblems was the Dutch menu!! The only dissapointing aspect of my trip was on our last night when a local group of young Dutch men insisted on drinking all night till 6 in the morning who were loud and abusive, I am quite sure some of the guests had not paid!! I reported the matter to management early in the morning and they were not very interested in what had happened!

Basic hotel voor toch een stevige prijs 116€ waar je zelf bed mag opmaken en afhalen, in kleine ruimte met 2 stapelbedden,oké, is met douche op kamer echter geen handdoeken. Dus dan maar geen douche .. en dan vind ik het toch een onvoldoende voor prijs / kwaliteit verhouding.

Séjour convenable. Pas de serviettes de toilette, il faut les louer. Confort minimum. Mais, cadre exceptionnel !

Beau cadre , chambre vieillotte mais lits confortables , petit déjeuner au top…
