Nice rooms, good location for downtown. Parking was $15/day. Internet was good. Good restaurant for breakfast, but pricey. There was significant construction and railroad noise after 7:30A.

Beautiful hotel! Perfect for a nice cozy stay while in between trains.

Sheets and towels excellent; bed comfy. Breakfast was amazing and dinner options very good. We stayed here to be walking distance from the Alaska Train depot (easy peasy) and also walked to bike rental (Trek) to spend a great morning on the Tony Knowles Trail (saw a moose!). Staff were helpful and friendly. Little gift shop had some excellent giftie options. They had a grab and go sandwich area. We were super pleased with our choice.

Wonderful stay. The supervisor of restaurant in the hotel and restaurant staff were excellent. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Property was recently renovated, and it was an excellent hotel to stay at. Restaurant was great . The bar was great and the service was excellent

We came in late at night, check in with smooth and quick and friendly. The rooms were clean and well appointed and modernized. We had a good quiet sleep and got on our way. I did enjoy the shampoo soap and lotions. They had a good smell to them in the shower was comfortable.

It is impossible to get hold of hotels.com customer care or email them if there is an issue with the booking. Their links take you to policy not resolution help. In my case I have been trying to get answers for a booking that was priced $105 more nightly than the hotel's current rate. I've not been given any help regarding this. We are booking thru hotel's com to get the best prices and their price match guarantee should not be so hard for someone to work with. No customer will reach out unless there is an issue and this seems irresponsible of a top company to make customer support so hard

Food Options Bed comfort. Stayed in hotel previously under previous ownership a year or two ago.

The staff was very helpful, rooms were clean. They helped me find my key back and super supportive in everything. The only thing I don't like is about the elevator, which might be inconvenient for walking all the way down, especially for people with walking issues. But, overall, the place was very nice and amazing.

Stay classy Anchorage. To quote the great Ron Burgundy, our room “smelled of rich mahogany.” Great new renovation - very clean and comfortable and everyone was friendly.

The amazing staff of this hotel turned a flub into a bonus. Originally we were supposed to have a double room with two beds. We arrived at 9:00 PM and they were not available. The management adapted and gave us two king rooms. Excellent recovery. The design of the hotel is beautiful and feels Like a one of a kind and appropriate for Alaska with its warmth coming from the materials they use. Wood stone leather and textural fabrics complement each other. Comfortable beds and great sheets and pillows. Great food in the Crimson restaurant and great coffee in the room (Illy) and the Canteen. If there is a drawback it’s the layout. Long hallways put you far away from the lobby and for us that was not a problem but for some it might be. The location near the Alaska RR depot and downtown Anchorage’s east side was super convenient.

The noise from the streets are terrible.loud cars ripping up and down streets
