Friendly staff, facilities as advertised

It’s extremely basic, but that’s what you pay for. It’s very clean, compact, they provide you with shower gel and shampoo which I thought was good. Beds were very clean and comfortable. It’s very loud next to a motorway. Staff are friendly. Shower had good water pressure, towels nice and fresh.

Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Rooms were small, with the shower and sink in the main room rather than in a separate bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. It was also very easy to get onto the motorway from the hotel.

Basic no frills hotel - but for a nights sleep can’t go wrong

Place is definitely budget but has all you need for 1 night. Bed is very comfortable. Walking from the main road would be a bit daunting in the dark so accessing shops and pub is limited.

Great budget hotel. Decent room and free parking. Ideal for a trip to Newport or Cardiff.

The overall condition of the hotel was poor and needs a major update in all areas. Paid £8 for the breakfast which had very limited choice and not worth the money.

Would like to thank ibis as originally I had booked with Bella villa who cancelled my booking with no reason ( probably upped the price as there was a concert on) The Location was great 7 mins from train station.
