The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They assisted us with the food in the dining area, directions and favourite tourist attractions. They were also always willing to help whenever we approached them.

We stayed for 6 nights, customer care awful! A room at front of hotel, few doors away from nightclub....sleep...what sleep! Street full of loud drunks at night too, strewn with cans & bottles Spoke to some one at reception, when it was open! Told there was nothing they could do, basic attitude from staff was 'tough'. A couple of night you can cope with more than that they should give room at back of hotel. Not even offered a clean towel during our stay, I understand service is limited but a change of towel is easy. I stay in many of these hotels in France throughout the year & I never complain, trying to see positive in every one. The only positive here is a well stocked kitchen. Made our much looked after vacation awful. Never again!

Pros: - Clean room with kitchenette - Free street parking free on weekends - supposedly free, or no enforcement - Continental breakfast is decent Cons: - No staff on site for late check-in. Be sure to call them ahead to get the codes to get into the hotel and for the safe where they keep the keys. I arrived at 10PM, called their number and no one answered. Good thing I ran into a guest who had the safe combination. - No AC - if you leave the windows open, seagulls and street noises are loud. - Long walk from city center - the neighborhood is surrounded by docks/warehouses.

Hotel.com didn’t communicate with the hotel so when we arrived they was any booking at our name. The receptionist was extremely helpful and make sure we had room for the night. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

We stayed here for one night prior to embarking on the ferry to Portsmouth. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and Alexander on reception was very very helpful. I would recommend this hotel It is also very handy for the ferry, and the docks shopping mall is only a short walk away

There was no one there for us to check in. We called the number at the door and were informed we didn’t have reservations. We ended up having to get a last minute room at a hotel that was no where near as nice as this one appeared to be. The hotel STILL charged us and then claimed we booked a non refundable room.

We were very disappointed after booking a studio. Indeed, the place was more like a 'Chambre de Bonne' than a studio. The pictures on Expedia showing the room type booked were incorrect - they showed a real studio with a dining table... which we did not get. So we ate on a desk. Plus the counter space was so limited - non-existant to be honest- that the coffee machine was placed on the drainer. The extractor fan system was very awkward and did not work well, the smoke detector went on while we cooked some ground beef. The double bed was very small - probably a 130cm wide bed! We were provided with only one big and one small towel for 2 adults and a baby. You cannot open the window and have the curtains closed all together, which is annoying since there is no AC. The carpet really needs some deep cleaning. Overall, the staff was pleasant but the property was really badly made with the cheapest materials and furniture one could find. Very disappointing.

We have stayed before last autumn, pleasant enough, and more space than a standard typical French hotel room, so we rebooked for June but did not think of temperatures. As there is no air conditioning, they should have simple air fans available if customer requests one. Fortunately we had a north-facing room, so we survived but would have been much more comfortable with an air fan. Also, kitchenette has two of everything except cups/mugs and apparently this is a conscious decision. Why? Also internet "pulses"... it stay connected ok but even on normal sites it is clear that each site is accessed in short pulsed stages which can be annoying.

We stayed in 8 accommodations during our trip to France and this is by far the worst. Even worse than the two small ibis we stayed. We also stayed in the other Adagio in Caen the next night which was a pretty big contrast. We booked 2 rooms so we see some differences. One was right next to the elevator and it was much smaller than the other room. The bathroom was spacious but there were stain on the shower floor. The whole room was full of some kind of artificial scent that it felt like someone had smoked in the room and the hotel was trying to do something with the smell. We could not sense this scent in the other room. The windows was also big. Since there's no A/C and we would like some fresh air during the night, a big window attracted some bugs. It's unlikely that we will return.

The Wifi connexion was not great, very slow. The shower door was not closing properly and as a result water was all over the floor. The cleaning has not been done once whereas we stayed 9 days and it's supposed to be done once a week.. The staff was very good.

We were here to get our daughter settled at college, and had a very nice time. The reception was really helpful regarding all our queries about the city and means of transport. The city itself was a delight to roam around, with its sunny days, cool breeze and friendly people.

I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights from 18 August to 29 August. Reached at 11:00 am but check in was allowed at 3 pm as per hotel policy. The hotel has all the amenities it should have. The kitchen in the room was fully equipped including hot plate, coffee maker, utensils, fridge etc. etc. The whole of the staff is really nice, helpful and co-operative. I would like to specially thank the lady at the reception - Ms. Claire who was quite helpful and provided all the guidance and support needed. This place is worth stay, will visit again.

We came here for a rather long stay and we are amazed by this place. It is very conveniently located, right at the docks. But it is located on a quiet street. Additionally, there are free street parkings around the area which makes it a plus. The room is quite standard, with simple furniture. The simple kitchen setup makes long stays easy. The price is amazing. Since we didn't plan to spend much time in the room, we took a chance to book this hotel as the rate was very descent. We were pleasantly surprised. In short, if you are in La Havre for work or pleasure, this is a nice choice you won't feel regret about.

We spent only one night in this hotel, but were pleasently surprised. The room is a great value for money with a small kitchen. We could not park our car in the hotel parking space due to small number of parking spots. Instead we parked at the safe parking spot next to the hotel. One thing we disliked is that the reception does not work 24/7. You could probably arrange that they wait for you, but thinking that I have to arrive on time during a vacation is not very appealing.
