Nice people, great location, good breakfast! We walked almost everywhere in the historic center no matter of the rain. The restaurant and staff were very helpful. We had dinner at Majorica once which was really great and walking distance from the hotel. Thank you

Mouldy walls, empty bottle of shampoo, noisy room, breakfast with limited choice and very slow service it took 10 mins to get some warm milk, pool with no lights, dirty sauna,

Despite having reserved a royal suite room upstairs with a garden view which we had stayed many times as a repeated guest they put us on a lower level room with bad smell , mouldy walls, no shampoo, the bedroom upstairs was very noisy, a machine outside didn’t let us sleep, the breakfast is very average, watery orange juice, very little fruits . It was the last time we will stay at this hotel.

I’m gonna make this one really short. This is the best hotel in Brazil. Everything about it is fantastic. Great food, great location, great service, great everything.

Gorgeous well kept historic property. The breakfast the the afternoon tea were outstanding. We forgot our jackets in the room's closet. The hotel staff found it. We gave them our location, a hotel in Rio de Janeiro. They mailed to us, and 2 days later we received our jackets. Outstanding hospitality service.

Superb experience . Professional staff, attentive at all times . We had an issue with the car and they were very hands on . Security was excellent . Felt safe . Breakfast delicious and the young lady who waited on us so nice and professional. Wonderful place.

The ambiance and the location of the hotel were perfect. The grounds were impeccable. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautifully decorated ornate salon. Would definitely stay here again!
