Nice old motor inn

I booked 4 nights on the last room available at the Inn. The price was cheap ($98), confirming once again that you get what you pay for. The room sucked big time.

This is a very old motel but charges a modern price of $186. The rooms do not have coffee makers, mini fridges and hotel restaurant does not open or offer coffee until 8 am. Broken reading light next to my bed was reported shortly after check in but never corrected. Listen, I understand this is a tiny fishing town in a difficult area to find workers but I wish they would put out some effort. We stayed in a better motel last year for $120 but it was full of fishermen ( opening weekend) this year.

Great hotel. Great location. Great bar across the street. The property is older, it had great service and location, but the beds were not very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. There is also a bar and restaurant on the property, but we did not eat there.

The people who work there are amazing!! It was a lovely place to stay, though the bed we had was a but rough and creaky - but besides that, it was a blast to spend time at the Inn.

What I liked was the ambiance and the cleanliness and staff kindly served coffee even though we left so early in the morning. Cute room. And was very thankful a heater was provided in the room. What I did not like were the street lights and motel sign light coming through the window; closed the blinds as much as I could. Above the entrance door is also a window where the hallway light shown through so got up in the middle of the night and turned the light off. While shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were kindly provided, there was no hand soap and I didnt want to use all the body wash because i needed a shower. The bed was hard and i could slightly feel the springs and the pillow was like a rock. I honestly think I would have slept better on the floor, which was tempting. I may come back to try their restaurant, but the sleeping arrangements left us exhausted and sore.

It was an interesting place to stay, stepped back in time a little but safe and clean so all went well.

Classic "bait and switch " Made reservations for room with private bath in the historic Bridgeport Inn. Phoned the Inn to make certain that the reservations were for a room inside the historic hotel, and not in the motel facilities. When we arrived for check in, we were told that the motel, was the only place left with a private bath, or we could stay in the main building and share a bathroom with 10 other rooms. The motel room that we got, had a TV that was not hooked up. I reached for the telephone to call the front desk, and found that the phone was also not connected, and found no place to plug it in. The person that finally came out to address these issues, was as perplexed as I was, but did manage to connect the TV to the satellite. The house phone? No way! Also no place for my wife to plug in her hair dryer in the bathroom, Or a place for me to plug in my electric shaver. There was 1 overloaded electric strip in the living room. In addition there was no smoke detector to be found anywhere. Had there been a fire we would have been in deep trouble. Stay away from this place !! In my opinion, This place is a dump ! Save your money.

Wonderful stay in an Old West-style hotel, with saloon, Victorian lobby/parlor. Really old-timey and cool. The bed was super comfortable, and the dining in the saloon was delicious -- no need to leave the hotel in the rain. Only quibble would be to improve heat flow into rooms -- it was very warm in the upstairs heated hallway but coolish in the room. But I would definitely stay again.

Pleasant stay for a night when passing through.

$22 hamburger. Extremely thin walls. No tv or bathroom in room.

Loved the old charm if you stay in the old house it’s a little loud, but worth the money I will stay there again Food was great
