This is a nice simple room close walking distance. Only draw back is fan is not powerful, great otherwise.

Cozy hotel that’s right by everything you’d want to see and do in Florence. The hosts were very nice and informative of things to do and had an easy check in/out process.

This hotel is 1 star so I didn’t expect so much before I arrived. But for my surprised the location is excellent. The room is spacious, clean and the bed and pillows are very comfy! It is important for me to have a clean, good night sleep and a safe area. The building is cool so even it’s hot outside, my room temperature is good. If you are traveling and on workcation, get another working space. If you are just stay to have a good night sleep, have your own data plan. And don’t mind sharing a shower/toilet then this is perfect for you. I highly recommend this if you are a quiet, budget traveller. Very friendly and helpful owners.

We arrived at the hotel just around 8PM which is just about the time the reception was to close for the day. The host was gracious to stay back and give us the most detailed help that we could hope for as first time visitors to Florence. Gave us information on best spots to visit and eat. The property itself so close to all main attractions in Florence between 5 to 15 minutes walk to most of them. It is also located in the trendiest part of the town. The walk from the Novella station to the hotel was enjoyable with many sights to see along the way. It does come with a shared bathroom with other guests. So you have to be mindful and keep it clean.

Amazing host but there are a couple things that were bad. Broken tiles in the bathroom which felt unsafe to walk barefoot and the WiFi was slow/disconnected. The price is fair and in a good location.

Our stay was wonderful! Our host was so helpful and gave us the best advice about what to do and where to go for our short stay. The room was very large and roomy.

Noise canceling window was great, but the one issue is since there is no AC you have to open the window for air. This property was truly great, but I would never stay here during summer months. Great location, amazing staff, secure and safe location. Would stay again!

The hosts were very friendly. I was only in the city for two nights but my host took the time to map out all the major attractions in the city, some that were away from the city center and gave me the best recommendations for where to eat(where the locals eat). Great experience!

Just beautiful, a historic Firenze hotel. The hosts could not have been kinder. The room and bath were clean and spacious. Located in a nice area for walking about getting a meal. I highly recommend Hotel Cestelli!

For a 1-star hotel, I believe we received great value. The caretakers Allesendro and Asumi were top-notch welcoming and friendly. No TV in room but gives one more incentive to go outside and take in the vibes of Firenze. Our room was very clean, no air conditioning but the little electric fan seemed to do the trick. Overall, I was very pleased. Thank you Alessandro and Asumi for making our stay and experience possible.

This is the place to stay for budget travellers in Florence. For a budget option, you couldn’t ask for a better location, very clean, safe, and incredibly kind and helpful owners!

Location is a gorgeous early medieval building in walking distance from much of Florence's most popular attractions such as the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. Staff were approachable, easy to talk with and courteous, even lending me a hand when my flight got cancelled.

An above average basic amenities hotel. Very clean, perfect location, tastefully decorated, friendly & knowledgeable owners, reasonably priced for Florence location. I would be happy to return

Simply, good value, friendly, close to all the sights and shops. Perfect for a short stay

I booked a single room with shared bathroom. The hosts were very kind and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and plenty of good advice about the local area. Yes, it isn’t great sharing Bathroom facilities and the water pressure isn’t the best for taking a shower. But all in all, taking into account the class of Hotel, the friendliness of the hosts and the cleanliness of the facilities I would definitely consider booking again. The location is perfect for the surrounding area.

The place is clean and save but need better internet and also asked to leave the key gor cleaning the room and needs to be picked up before 8 pm

Great Central location, bohemian vibe to accommodation. Price is relatively cheaper reflecting the basic facilities such as shared bathroom and no breakfasts.
