Friendly staff but room smelt of cooking. Perfect location for travelling to sights. Full English was good.

The property was quirky. It was an old building with many strange features. The staff were great and very helpful.

This was a great experience. Highly recommend. The hotel provides an actual stepping back in time experience, where you feel like family. The food is good, and the pub is fun. The train was a couple block away, with direct access to London. Windsor Palace very close, it felt very safe.

The Crown and Cushion is ideally located for all Windsor's attractions, the staff are helpful, one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a long time, hotel and rooms a little tired, in need of a little TLC and a lick of paint, would definitely stay here again.

“Just Perfect”!

Room was excellent. Walls and ceilings are thin and creaky but this didnt bother us. It's in a very quiet street. We all love a great shower and the one here was very good. Lots of tea and coffee in the room. Small carpark at the rear. Location is perfect for Windsor, 5 minute walk. Brealfast was good.

This is a very cozy motel on a very charming street. Prime location to the train station and the Castle. The staffs are warm and helpful. We love the breakfast! The only thing I complain is we booked room 2 from Expedia for higher charge because its description stated it has a king size bed. However, the room is also labeled as a double room and there is no king size bed. I hope Expedia's description is more accurate!

Steer clear of this place if you’re looking for lodging. This is not a charming old world pub/inn. It’s a dingy, LOUD, smelly, hideously decorated dump. Old is one thing - I’ve no issues with slanted, creaky floors. But any charm is covered with ugly gray, stained carpet and rotting fish odors in the staircase. Presumably original wooden beams painted with GLOSSY black. Ridiculous “modern” furniture, nude sketches in frames on the walls. You can hear every conversation from the street (room 3) and pub and every footstep. Hot water in shower intermittent. Couldn’t wait to get out of this dump!

Very historical building

Lovely little place that is in the perfect location for Windsor. The parking is very handy and the breakfast was nice. The only down side was it wasn't the most comfiest bed I have slept in but the parking and breakfast made it very good value for money. The place is very old and the stairs are windy and narrow so wouldn't recommend for elderly or if you are intending to get very drunk when heading up to bed.

Hotel is very convenient for all attractions. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good.

It's 600 years old! We chose it because we wanted to walk to Windsor Castle and not pay a fortune. The Crown and Cushion is in Eton and is three doors from the bridge to Windsor, which put us 5 minutes from the Castle, quieter and at an afforable rate. Also walking distance from Eton College. We loved the experience.

Very friendly staff tons of character and delicious hot breakfast

Love the location, and that there is parking available. Stairs to rooms are a bit steep but manageable and not too many of them. Lovely clean room overlooking the street below. It can be a little noisy (i didnt mind it) but the hotel does thoughtfully provide earplugs. There is a seperate entrance for anyone staying so you dont have to access via the pub. Breakfast is 8-9am and very nice with a hood choice. Ive stayed here twice now , both time involving a trip to windsor racecourse for a day at the races and will be back again in the future. Note you can walk to the racecourse on about half an hour if you choose to.

Great tome

Unique, old style kept outside of rooms. Be prepare to walk up very narrow stairs, staff very helpful to carry your suitcase. Room was spacious, bathroom up to modern standards. English style breakfast included.

Great location ! Good outside beer garden space

Wow what a beautiful place, lively querky old pub, very friendly helpful staff, great food, fantastic nights sleep, perfect location. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again.
