Room was clean, quiet and equipped ok. Shower was good and plenty hot. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Martin was a great host great sleep and breakfast

I don't do reviews. Well....apart from this one that is. I arrived to find the place locked up and a notice saying "opening soon" and it wasn't kidding. It turned out that it was literally opening that day and the next morning (after a good nights sleep) I found that the place had been transformed by Martin and his wife working all night until 4.30 am, bless them. And the hotel? Ah yes - plenty of free parking, quiet rooms, a great breakfast, very convenient for Keele University and ideal for stopping off the M6 between Manchester and Birmingham. I wish Martin & co all the best in their venture and, like General MacArthur, I shall return.

Everything very good

The room was nice and spacious with a good sized double bed although mattress wasnt as comfy as it looked. The ensuite was built into the corner of the room and was quite small, and when having a shower, the floor would become flooded. This would explain the damp smell when entering.

Stayed one night. Big room, clean, very convenient. A little dated and needed a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Good value for money in the area.
