Hotel staffing was very has poor customer service practice, the buffet staffing is terrible, no one seems to like their job and do it with a frown on their face. The food was repetitive for all 4 days i was there. It sucks that alot of visitors share the same sentiments and nothing had been done about these issues.

The property was nothing like the pictures run down cracks in the mirrors. Ceiling had cracks and patch repair work. Overall cleanliness was subpar. There was no way to get reservations for a party of our size. None of our diamond package was given to us. It was supposed to include upgraded liquor, upgraded food, but service and accommodations none of which were provided to us or Buttler informed us that he would not be able to assist with anything including restocking our fridge, which only had two waters and two sprite for a party of seven.

Deben mejorar con sentido de urgencia la forma de reservar y disponibilidad de los restaurantes. Fueron 6 noches solo se logró hacer reserva para 1 noche. Fuimos en 3 ocasiones solicitando ayuda con esto y no fue posible ni dialogar con respeto debido a la la supervisora Verenice fue muy desconsiderada y bastante irrespetuosa. Todas nuestras cenas terminaron siendo en el BUFET. El hotel es “all inclusive” y no lo parece con el asunto de las comidas limitan demasiado al huésped obligándolos a comprar comida botellas para consumo adicional para lograr una reserva. Recibir un servicio con el hotel implicaba siempre una venta extra, nunca hubo ese servicio de hacer sentir al huésped verdaderamente de vacaciones.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Disappointing Stay – Unacceptable Service and Hidden Costs As a family that has stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, we were truly disappointed with our experience at this property. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was underwhelming, and the overall experience did not live up to the standards we have come to expect. One of the biggest issues was the difficulty in securing reservations at any of the restaurants. It was nearly impossible to book a table unless you upgraded by purchasing a bottle of wine even at all-inclusive dining, which felt like a cheap and unnecessary upsell. To make things worse, when I sought help from a supervisor to address the issue, I was met with complete indifference—no one seemed willing to offer any assistance or try to resolve the situation. When I fell ill during our stay, I had to visit the on-site medical doctor. While I appreciate the kindness of the doctor, I was shocked to be charged $350 for what amounted to a very basic consultation—taking my temperature, pressing on my abdomen (I had abdominal pain), and checking my blood pressure. At other resorts, such services are typically included as part of the guest experience unless further treatment is required. I was left feeling taken advantage of, especially for such a minimal service. Overall, this resort fell far short of expectations, and we left feeling disappointed and frustrated. However, we arrived early and despite the advertised check-in time being 3 PM, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, which left us waiting for a while. It was a bit disappointing to start our stay with that inconvenience, especially since there was no formal welcome to the resort, which could have added a more personal touch. Room: The room itself was decent, but I was hoping for a balcony with a view. Unfortunately, our room faced a wall, which made the space feel a little more closed off than expected. Final Thoughts: Despite the initial hiccups, we still managed to have a great time during our stay. I would NOT recommend this property. The property over promised and under delivered. Positive: waterpark and the wave pool were fun. Entertainment team had great energy. But unfortunately the negatives were so terrible we had to check out several days early. It ruined our vacation. Overall the accommodations were dirty. Over 80% of cups, plates & utensils were half washed and filthy. We had stained bedding. Limited options for those with dietary restrictions. Places like the VR and coffee shop unexpectedly closed early. Long wait times for drinks. Nearly impossible to make dinner reservations. If you decide to stay here check with the front desk upon arrival and ask them to write out a list of restaurants that will be open during your stay because the app doesn’t reflect restaurants that are actually open. Out of 5 days, the app made it appear that there are two restaurants open on Saturday and rest were restaurants closed from Sunday til Thursday which forces guest to the buffet. We did not enjoy the buffet selection, service was slow, seating was chaotic during peak times and there were quite a bit of dead flies on food especially the dessert.Event schedule changes without notice and app is not updated to show current changes. We stayed at Splash Cancun last year and had a wonderful and clean experience that is why we booked Splash Punta Cana. These two experiences were worlds apart. Despite everything, Expedia did a great job of advocating and resolving our issues.

Absolutely need to upgrade to diamond club to get the most out of this resort. Ernesto was amazing at getting us booked into restaurants, otherwise we would have eaten at the buffet everyday. He provided info on activities and checked in daily to see if we needed anything!

I am a loyal returning guest for a couple of years. The STAFF is hands down the best and are the true reason this resort is awesome. I only wished that the breakfast buffet was opened until 11am like before, and the waterpark to stay open until 5pm like before.

This property is ok if traveling with family and you are on a budget. We were scheduled to be at this resort for 6 days 5 nights, however, when we saw Royalton Punta Cana we had a change of heart and booked our stay there for the rest of our duration.
