Everything was absolutely excellent. Room, breakfast, friendliness of owners and location to city centre all made a very enjoyable break. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay and a nice 10 mins walk and you are in the city centre. The nearby pub does a gorgeous pie and mash 👍

We loved everything about our stay. Check in was easy and the couple that run the bed and breakfast were so friendly and accommodating. The rom was perfect and breakfast was delicious. Within walking distance to city center but there is a bus stop just meters from the lodge. Great experience! Highly recommend!

We stayed in the king room with bath/shower, which was upstairs overlooking the lovely rear garden. The property is well presented, warm, comfortable, clean and quiet. Bed was comfy, fresh towels and a kettle with tea/coffee etc provided. Breakfast was delicious, pre-ordered the night before, so fresh and beautifully cooked and served. Hosts are extremely attentive, organised, friendly and helpful. Parking at the front of the property off of the road which was ideal. Main entrance to the rooms is separate to the main house to the side of the building. The Black Horse pub is just a few minutes walk away. Walking into the centre is @ 15-18 mins along Earlham Road, head towards the Cathedral (8-10 mins) & take the footpath bridge opposite over the main road into the outskirts of town, then its 5 or so mins to the centre. A taxi cost us £10 one way. Would definitely recommend and will come back again.

Made to feel so welcome and our room was pristine! Everything you needed to hand. The breakfast was delicious, so much choice and you woukd not think that you were near a bug city centre because it was so quiet! My friend and I hope to return next year when there is a good theatre show on

We wish we had known about this place earlier, it is great. Lovely characterful ensuite bedrooms , charming, helpful hosts and superb breakfasts . Location is great for walking into the city and the nearby Black Horse pub is handy for meals. Easy parking too. Why did we go to generic chains when we could have stayed somewhere this special?

A beautiful house with lovely hosts who were keen to make sure that our stay was perfect. The room (one of three) was large, clean and on a landing that had a sitting room on it with books on the local area. Breakfast was very good with a great selection that was chosen from the night before and certainly enough to keep us going whilst sightseeing. Tea and coffee in the room, along with water, helped us recharge between sightseeing and dinner and there is a pub with a huge Sunday roast next door. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the market square but there is a regular bus service, although you would then miss the independent shops and cafes on the way. Would we stay again? Absolutely Recommend to others? Definitely

This was our second visit to Beaufort Lodge and again it was perfect. The location is ideal for Norwich City access, with the centre only a 15 minute walk away. Parking is on site off a relatively quiet residential main road. Our room was comfortable and quiet with a lovely usable seating area just outside our door. The Breakfast room is relaxed being situated alongside a well maintained garden, the food was very tasty, with plenty of coffee or tea and the hosts were extremely accommodating. All in all a great stay.

We spent 2 fabulous nights here. Don and Aylwin were lovely. Allowed us to arrive early to make the most of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were perfect and they catered for my vegan daughter which was great. If we ever return to Norwich, this is where we would want to stay.
