It was OK. Food was good overall and pool was nice and well maintained. That said, hotels.com advertises $400 for use in the hotel and that was one of the main drivers for choosing this hotel vs others. Upon arrival it turns out it is 16 $25 coupons WHEN YOU SPEND $100. Coupons can't be used together so they are almost useless. The breakfast got super crowded due to being 1 restaurant for the whole hotel. And they were very unflexible with dinner reservations.

I would recommend the hotel a better strategy for the check-in and check-out. There is not too much organization about that and we didn’t have a good experience. People was just looking each other to see who was first. Ms. Maria made she can to organize us. Also the room we reserved with a king bed wasn’t available at our arrival. We had to stay in a doble the first night and they move us to a king size next day. The rest of our experience at the hotel was pretty much very good. Food at the restaurants very good. Waiter Mr. Juan Carlos at the Stake-house restaurant was very helpful, thank you. Waiters Mr. Gustavo and Mr. David very good at “El Nopal” restaurant. Basically all the amenities were really good. Thank you.

Ok resort not outstanding

This was our third visit to this property, and although we still enjoyed the location, the beautiful grounds, and found the staff very helpful and accommodating, the quality and quantity of entertainment at this hotel has declined and the rooms are not as well maintained. It was very noisy during our visit. The buffet dining areas were very loud, with heavy chairs scraping across the floors, crying children, and a lot of slamming hotel room doors. This resort will appeal to those travelling with children or hosting a wedding. For those looking for a quiet, relaxing stay, with quality entertainment, look elsewhere.

Food was not the greatest- not all the restaurants were open every night- entertainment was minimal- overall was not clean.

The overall resort was absolutely beautiful from the botanical plants to the pools. The activities and reception staff were very kind and helpful. The beach was great and well maintained as well. The food was okay. My partner did end up with food poising and was very sick one of our days unfortunately. We also found that the room was not incredibly clean when we arrived. There were children’s stickers in the shower and the bathroom counter was quite dirty.

Everything was wonderful! The best experience! Will come back again.

The entertainment? Pool area, beach area, the food and people, thank you for a relaxing vacation. The spa was lovely.

Worth the drive. Good spot for families or couples.. didn't seem crowded at all for cdn spring break time. Gym was nice but too small. Food was great and beach and pools we more that what ya need. Workers were happy and nice to be around. They were happy as its something i pay attention to. Good time 😊

Beautiful big pools with great activities staff. Entertainment was fun, great food, especially the taco bar on the beach, French restaurant in the train car and the Mexican and Japanese restaurants. Main buffet was varied and excellent as well. Bar service on the beach, Beautiful marble in the main building. We loved our junipr suite with beach view - jad an outdoor seating area and two lounge chairs, and a 10 meter walk out to the beach! Onsite diveshop as well. Skip the Iberostar sales pitch.
