You have to check-in before you enter the parking lot. Quite odd. First hotel I've encountered with such a procedure. So you park your vehicle in front of the hotel and as you enter a security guard will stop you and request your ID. Are they police? Of course when you check-in at the front desk you will have to show your ID for the booking. Then you go back out to your vehicle and head on to park. In the building, parking spaces are very limited. If you're out of luck, you'll be directed to the parking structure nearby. The front desk told me it was free but it was an outright lie. The parking attendants told me this is not the first time they encountered/argued with a guest with this deliberate false information. The parking structure has no affiliation or prior arrangement with Azumi Hotel. Overnight rate is Php250 if I remember correctly. Once you check-out and exit the parking lot, the guard will stop you and radio to the front desk if you have checked out. What if I just wanted to buy food? All in all, if you are looking for a place to relax and be treated as a guest, Azumi Hotel is not the place to go. Other hotel are about the same price on a good day. Best head there for a hassle-free experience with more professional and pleasant staff.
