We (three adults) stayed in a two-storey mezzanine room and it was the perfect accommodation for our ski holiday. There was plenty of space both upstairs and downstairs with a sofa that pulled into a sofa bed, bathroom, a separate toilet and wardrobes downstairs and upstairs too. We had a balcony with amazing views of the mountains. The decor of the room and whole hotel is lovely, very cozy and feels very ski-esk. Breakfast was included too which includes cold and hot food. The selection was quite random, but we all enjoyed it every morning. The spa / pool area is lovely and clean. You could spend a good few hours relaxing in there. The location is perfect. The hotel is just located off the main street with bars and restaurants. 5 minute walk to the gondola too. The only cons really were that we weren’t sure which room we actually booked as this wasn’t very clear when booking. I managed to get in touch with the hotel and they confirmed this for us. Also there’s no kettle in the room, we bought our own travel one. 100% recommend for a ski holiday.

Tanne Hotel was amazing! We got the suite, 2 floors with 2 bathrooms. It was amazing, honestly enjoyed every minute. The breakfast was great! we asked for an omelet every day and they made it with a smile for us. breakfast was great and the spa was amazing! the Jacuzzi was very hot with different kinds of water pressure in it. Was so good! Thank you very much!

We arrived in the very early hours in the morning. We found the rooms clean and warm. Toiletries were supplied as was a clean bath robe and new slippers. The meals were freshly prepared and hot good choice in the breakfast and dining room. The spa area was very good. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend

We stayed here as I had seen the hotel in winter and it always looked nice. My boyfriend ended up with suspected bed bug bites which let down our experience. The room was fine and had a balcony. With such a small difference in price its worth staying in the Kemmpinski in summer instead.

The hotel felt dated, musty and dark. Our room was not cleaned several days running even when we asked at the non helpful reception. The mountain view room that we paid for was actually a car park full of stray cats .. the bed was too small for me ( I am 6”6’) they did change room upon request but only after two days which made experience uncomfortable. The breakfast was v basic and service always without a smile. No open bar and seemed that they had already shut down for season. The pool and hot tube were nice but the sauna and steam rooms were often not switched on during working hours, so took ages to become usable. This was an engagement trip and a 4 star hotel .. I expected better.

This hotel was a fabulous find. The staff are friendly, the spa with pool, heated jacuzzi, sauna and steam room is very welcome after a day in the snow and the beds are super comfortable. Breakfast is ok. If you are looking for a full English every morning it’s not the place for you, but there is enough choice to suit everyone. It’s close to the town, but far enough away not to hear the nightclubs. The heating in the hotel seems to be set to maximum, so you may need to turn your radiator down. The reception area has a beautiful log fire where it would be nice to enjoy a drink if they opened the bar more often. The on-site restaurant is very very good and incredibly cheap too. One thing where the hotel could improve is in it’s towel and toiletry lottery. Will they change the towels? What will you get? One bath towel and six hand towels? Or nothing new? Will they leave more shower gel or shampoo or not? Thankfully, the reception staff can usually correct any errors. If you want a kettle for your room, you’ll need to ask at reception and google translate often helps with this. Maybe taking a travel kettle and mugs might be a better idea. We will be staying here the next time we are in Bansko. Hotel Tanne is a great little place.

The experience was good overall. The location is pretty good as the hotel is nearby the gondola to get to the ski resort. The town old center is located at 15 min walk, so very convenient to get to traditional restaurants. The breakfast was fairly poor, there was nothing sweet and the savory food was very repetitive.

The Tanne is one of the prettier hotels in Bansko, with a nice exterior and interior that suggest it is well built, located about 10min walk from the gondola lift. The room was comfortable and clean, the hotel also, but it was lacking in a few areas. The advert claims a hot-tub, it is there but seems to have been out of order for some time! The pool is not heated, or if it is then it is not switched on, this is quite refreshing and does mean it is not over-used, but some temperature would be good. I would have scored higher if these were better. The staff were nice, but few spoke English, they were VERY quiet and there wasn't a lot of engagement which was a shame. Again I have scored down a bit as it is nice to feel welcome and have some dialogue, but that seemed to be the theme of the resort, not just here. Overall a nice place to stay, the breakfast was ok and set us up for the day.

Overall is okay, room is big enough, comfortable. Reception and the lobby can be no any staff in the afternoon like 3-4 o'clock, I need to ring the bell for 20 mins until someone came over. And staff are not very helpful I feel like they don't really expect customers to ask questions. Breakfast finish at 9:30, one day I arrived 9:05, already almost nothing left (obviously not enough for 2 people), but the staff was looking at us came into the breakfast lounge and didn't even ask or refill any food. I've been there 5d, steamer is never opened, only sauna is working and which is not too bad.

Tanne was lovely and welcoming. Toni the waiter in the restaurant could speak a few words of Irish and really made us feel at home with great service and good quality fresh food. We were undecided in advance if we should go half board or not, but we should have as in the end are there almost every night (our two boys are age 7 and 4). Very near the ski lift and Svet on reception gave us a a good tip of where to rent skis. Room was very big and cleaned every day and we all enjoyed the pool and sauna/steam room, even if pool water was a tad chilly for the adults! They even prepared us an early breakfast for the day we departed very early. I would thoroughly recommend and definitely go back.

We stayed for a summer weekend and loved it. Our room was just right. We had our breakfast on the deck with a view of the mountain. The pool and spa were nice with the outdoor area for sunbathing. Overall great quality experience!
