Great hotel, but slow service at the restaurant

The hotel is very nice, very clean. I like very much this hotel. I stay here not first time. The breakfast is very nice.

Lovely hotel. The room was good, very clean. The only downside was that there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and everything was freshly made. The room was warm and comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. We will return.

Very peaceful, quiet & clean, good location out of town with rail link next door. Good food. Reception staff helpful but not particularly welcoming & room would be great if it had tea/coffee facilities not just a mini bar. Great place for a mini break

Easy to find and well maintained grounds. Interior very clean but a little dated in appearance

I was pretty content, although I experienced the morning person at the reception (blond, long eye lashes) as arrogant and little welcoming. The other receptionist was friendly, though. And breakfast eggs should be hot or at least relatively warm. Atmosphere in breakfast room could be friendlier, if some background music were played.

The hotel is well situated for travel to the Dusseldorf and Duisburg areas. It is peaceful and quiet for the most part, and set back in a nice park area. The on-site restaurant and breakfast is one of the better ones that I've experienced on my business travel. Plenty of parking, and good access to the motorway links. The staff are always friendly and helpful. This isn't a Sheraton, Marriott etc, but is a good, mid-range hotel in the area. A/C isn't brilliant, so the rooms can become a bit uncomfortable in extremely warm weather.

For a business trip, this hotel did exactly what was necessary, without wowing me. The hotel was clean, well-appointed, had a good restaurant and nice views. It wasn't exceptional, but for the price paid, it was very fair, and met my expectations.

Great for a business overnight stop Good location, parking, staff, on site bar and restaurant, breakfast choice, and late check out available. Room was a bit dated and maybe due a refresh and no coffee/tea facilities or free bottled water

Got a great deal from Hotels.Com and great service and room into the bargain. Location may not suit everyone but has on-site restaurant and you can easily walk to neighbourhood shops.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Comes with free breakfast downstairs with lovely views onto a beautiful swan pond.

Booked a Basement room but was given a free room upgrade upon arrival, Staff were very helpfull and pleasent,Good breakfast with plenty of variation for everyone. Very good food in the italian resteraunt,Small gym and sauna room free of charge. 25 min train ride to Duisberg city and Dusseldorf with the train station only 50 mtrs away. Comfortable bed and very quiet .

Room is okay, but was a little hot

The comforter on a double bed was suitable for a small child.

Relaxing overnight stay whilst travelling north through Germany Nice place and great food

Overall very pleasant stay. Only drawback was that breakfast didn't open until 7am, so couldn't enjoy that due to early departure. Room was booked for 3 people (parents and child), but was very tight with roll-away bed in the room. Space was not designed for 3 beds. Nevertheless, the beds were comfortable.
