Convenient for those who just need a place to shower and sleep; above the Borough tube station. Ten minute walk to the Shard and London Bridge tube station. It is not a normal hotel; you receive your access codes by email. It’s like a dormitory of rooms, very narrow corridors, only stairs (no lift - inconvenient if you have a suitcase or physical disability). The room is clean, everything works, the bed is comfortable. It’s just not the same experience as a hotel.

Great location by Borough tube station . But Digital only check in and room access despite staff being available No soap in dispenser in room Shower entrance incredibly narrow . Weird . I’m not particularly large and I couldn’t get in so had to leave unshowered! Avoid

Great location of the area! You are minutes away from the borough market and tube within minutes. The hotel itself has everything it needs just no fluidity. Upon arrival check in was easy cause we were able to do everything online. Photos do not match what we had gone for. We got assigned to the 3rd floor which is fine cause we are pretty fit people but could have been nice to have a level 1 or have that option. Our room looked like it had gotten broken into the door lock was taped together. There were walls that patched but not painted and a leak in our sink. The coffee machine was nice but we had to plug it and place it on the floor and there was no proper table to have everything placed to have coffee. There are hooks for coats and a shoe rack but no storage or safe for valuables/clothes storage. Note that there is no AC unit but a fan is provided. The laundry and locker room are in the same room. The hotel person says that they change the lock every so often but if other people are checked in while your items are there, they can just grab and go. We ended up bringing our stuff to another hotel when we still wanted to explore.

Comfortable room with its own bathroom. Glad to have a kettle supplied but would be good to have a toaster and microwave as well.

Great position with everything walkable. Bed and pillows were great. Shower pressure was fantastic BUT only one of us could get a shower as it went cold after 1-2 minutes.

The hotel is right in the heart of London, and the location couldn’t be more convenient—it’s steps away from the subway, which made getting around the city really easy. One thing I didn’t realize beforehand is that the bathrooms are shared with other guests. While they were kept very clean, it was still a bit of a challenge, especially at night. The door code for the room was quite long, so I had to carry my phone with me each time. Traveling with my niece, who was on her first big trip away from home, made me feel a little uneasy about that arrangement. The street outside is quite busy, so it can get loud, especially since the windows need to stay open with no air conditioning. Another detail that stood out was the beds—the mattresses were placed on wooden box frames that were a bit smaller than the mattresses themselves. A few times I felt like I might slide off the edge, which wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, the location is excellent, but some of these details made the stay less comfortable than I had hoped.

The hotel is in an easy to find location next to borough station, that’s probably the only decent thing about it. Overall the room was tired and the carpets were heavily stained. Getting a case up the stairs was tough as it’s very narrow and cramped. The room I stayed in faced the road, so was very loud. The room itself was really warm, so I had to have the window open to try and get some air in, this didn’t help with the noise situation. Access into the hotel was fine, it was a little clunky using a WhatsApp link sent through to get a code to unlock doors but it did work ok. The bathroom was a shared bathroom and toilet, so as you can imagine, this was not very clean. Overall it was fine and useful as I was working around London Bridge, so the location was great as I could walk up in 10 minutes and not worry about tube strikes, but I would not stay here again.

We stayed on the 2nd floor, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in Europe/UK. The main issue was the noise — the door to the property shuts extremely loudly, and the guests in the room next to ours (201) returned around midnight. Since the shared bathroom is located in the corridor, they kept going in and out until about 2am. Each time, the door slammed so loudly that it was impossible to sleep. It was incredibly inconsiderate, and we barely rested the entire night. On top of that, the fan in the second bathroom wasn’t working, leaving the space with a terrible odor. For the price I paid (over NZD $540 for two nights), I expected much better. You can easily find hotels for around NZD $400 in better locations with far superior comfort and have your own bathroom. The only positive was the staff member who greeted us on arrival — he was very helpful in explaining how to access the room and facilities. Unfortunately, good service couldn’t make up for the poor conditions and lack of comfort.

Unique boutique hotel in south london. Located directly adjacent to the borough street underground station. Very convenient for getting around London. Just 4 blocka to the Borough Market. There is limited access to services of any type from hotel staff. The desk is manned only 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. There is phone access to someone at all times however. There was no a/c, simply fans in our room but we were given an ice old towel when we checked in and that was absolutely perfect. We were able to keep it cold in the bar fridge in the room. And there is no lift service here...for me with knee issues and a walker it meant a long slow climb to the third floor This property suits younger, active people. Similar in many ways to a hostel.

The location is ok but the hotel offers no amenities or services. The shower's water was cold in the morning and we run out of toilet paper and it was not replaced. No air conditioning in the rooms and the rooms open on a backyard space with noisy plant rooms from commercial shops. No concierge and quite difficult for interacting if guests don't speak English.

This is a lovely property close to cafes, restaurants and public transport. It is within walking distance to London Bridge station for the train to Gatwick Airport. There is no lift and the stairs are quite steep and narrow. Ok if you have a small case or bag. Difficult with a large heavy case. Our king room was very spacious and comfortable with 2 very comfy arm chairs, opening windows, heating and a fan for warmer weather. The bathroom was nice although needed a new toilet seat lid (broken); the grout needed a good scrub and there was quite a bit of black mould. If required, I would stay here again.

Fantastic location! The gentleman at the desk downstairs is very kind and efficient. Few issues I had with my room, He immediately saw to that they were taking care of. Shared bathrooms are kept very clean. No-frills accommodation my room-definitely could use updating. Carpet looked very used and worn. I had bought slippers so that was fine. The layout was a bit awkward. The mirror was placed on the opposite side of the room from the only plug so it was a bit challenging to try and do your hair lol. All in all, for the price, this was ideal for the three days I needed a place to call homebase! The area itself for being busy was quiet at night. I was able to sleep with the window open with minimal disruption from traffic. Traveling alone I felt safe coming and going. The tube station is right next-door and you can catch any bus going either way easily. If needed, I would stay here again.

Good location but insanely complicated check-in and door access. Room and bathroom facilities pared down to the absolute minimum and run down, but just about usable.
