Convenient location and a good price. Hotel has a nice rooftop patio area. Rooms were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Staff are incredibly friendly and happy to share suggestions for activities, dining, and drinks. They really seemed to enjoy advising and seemed happy at work and so nice to one another and the customers.

I love the staff and the restaurants in the hotel and the location.

Another great stay at the Adventure Hotel!

Kind and informative receptionist generally seemed to enjoy checking guests in. The location is situated well and walks to downtown, the lakeside trails, or through the neighborhoods of Nelson all are options. The room was quiet.

Hotel was nice. It is an older building but that is part of the charm.

I gave the hotel a good rating because of the noise. It was very noisy in our room as I could hear noise from the room above and the karaoke that they host on Saturday nights was thumping throughout the hotel but especially in the rooms above the bar area.

We stay here a couple times a year. It has always been clean and the staff are amazing in every part of this building from hotel to restaurants to cafe!! For us the location is perfect to just park and walk for weekend. Great staff, food, coffee and location!

I didn’t know what to expect from this place. The photos looked decent but I’m always skeptical with new hotels! I absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere was so fun. I travelled solo this trip and it for sure has a party fun kind of vibe. I don’t think I would recommend for little kids as there is no elevator and many stairs. The wall are pretty thin but the front desk gives you free earplugs. If you’re looking for a typical romantic getaway, this is not it. It’s called the adventurer for a reason!!! Full of life, many stories, and interesting history! It’s a fun place! There are no microwaves and fridges in the rooms, but they have a communal building kitchen where you can store food in fridges. If this weirds you out, don’t stay here! Hotel staff, waiters, other guests; everyone was so friendly! The food in both the pub and the cafe attached is amazing!! Great pizza in the pub and amazing coffee and treats next door! Close to the Hume hotel and Spa, to the Himalayan Salt Cave, and to lots of shops!! Overall great experience!

Awesome spot for central location and as pick up for cat skiing. Super friendly front desk and rooms were clean and plenty spacious. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel apart from the fact that our room was above the bar and on a Saturday night there is karaoke until midnight. So if you want to go to sleep before midnight on a Saturday don’t get one of the rooms above the bar

Room and beds were great. Outdoor area was not ready for use, fire pit, tables etc. Breakfast was quite late at 9, so we missed it because we needed an early start.

Had a nice vibe with the exposed brick. Convenient with sports bar/restaurant and coffee shop. Nice, clean and quiet room. Free parking was limited- otherwise you have to pay at the meters.

Absolutely fantastic property. Lots of great features like the attached coffee shop, restaurant, and pub, along with the sauna on the roof. Really enjoyed this spot and fully intend on staying again next time I’m in Nelson!

What a awesome gem of a hotel. I love the bar and the cafe and even the lounge, and being able to enjoy your time in these various environments. The room was nice, and everything was clean and well cared for. I did find the room A little echoey as the floors are not carpeted, and the air conditioner was quite noisy, but overall the place was great and I will definitely be back again.

Really fun place with friendly staff and free decent coffee starting at 5 am all for a reasonable price.

This is a great local hotel in a central location. Great place to stay when skiing at Whitewater, customer service is fantastic.

Perfect budget friendly option. Close to everything. Liked having the sauna and gym and restaurants. Was mostly quiet for being in the city. Would definitely stay here again.
