No chairs. No Table. No Phone. No TV (it was broken and they did not repair it, when we requested repair we had no response. Shower valve was broken and fell off. No food, (breakfast, lunch or dinner) No cabinet to store our clothing and luggage. No way to call a taxi, the desk person had to stand in the street to hail a taxi. Aircon was working well and personnel was friendly.

Hourly rate for early check -in is expensive, almost half of the price of a night stay for a 3 hours early check in. 😅 The hair dryer does not work, told us that the maintenance will fix it, but they didn't, also the TV. The room is too small actually. And we actually hear the noise from the other room at 1am in the morning.

I can still remember 5 to 6 years ago this hotel used to be really great. Now its not just the same anymore. Stained sheets and towels, sad lobby, failing light bulbs, sometimes malfunctioning showerheads etc. But it if youre only looking for somewhere to stay overnight in lanang davao, I guess it will do.

Its been a while since the last time I stayed at red planet davao because of covid. Back then, the hotel was very clean, tidy and staff were very polite. Fast forward to today, they checked me into a room with dirty bed covers, no bedside tables and no towels. And when I went back to the receptionist to complain they didn't even apologize. They did however checked me into a different room. This room was relatively clean. But, when I used the shower, the shower head was not working properly. The water were spilling all over the side of the shower head instead of the tiny holes. So it ended working like a faucet instead of a shower. But I didn't even bothered to complain again because I was so tired and just wanted somewhere to sleep over night. Now I am contemplating if I should ever use this hotel again for my over night stays in davao. Too bad, I really used to love this place.

The service from the receptionist is mediocre, nothing special, the elevator cannot be used, toiletries are not available / must be paid for, bottled water is not available, the rooms are cramped.

They don't have early check in while in other hotels are considering us to check in early. We ask the staff if our room is akready available he said yes but still he didn't allow us to check-in we need to wait the check in time. And there is a early check in charge no good no consideration we came from luzon tired of travel no good not to recomend this one.

They charged me $10 for a minor stain on one towel which is easily removable. I guess to avoid being charged randomly you should not touch anything in the room. The towel should be labelled “for display purpose only”!

Receptionist wasn't that accommodating, room was too small, no basic necessities like toiletries that even the cheapest hotel has a complete toiletries in the toilet. The bed was ok , hot shower and aircon was ok. I had to fight with the door just to open, I end up with my shoulder very sore in just 3 days just because I have to push the door so hard just to open it, I told them about that but then they told me to push the door hard as if i'm about to break the door just to get in. House keeping and Security are more friendly and accommodating than the receptionist. They can't call that a budget hotel because the price is way to expensive than I expected for the room, I am a frequent traveller, I've been in the most cheapest hotel that the rate is only 900/night but then everything in the room was ok toiletries, water, coffee etc. But in this hotel I paid 2,500 a night and there's nothing there, it's like sleep and go. I will be back in Davao but not in this hotel anymore

There is strong smell on our level, it’s level 8 everytime we’re going in our room I need to cover my nose and run to our room so that I can’t smell it but it’s so strong that I want to vomit for our 3 days and 4 nights it doesn’t disappear.
